I woke up chained to the wall in a room that I didn't recognize. As I looked around the room, I heard footsteps coming from behind a door across from me. Someone unlocked the door and and slowly opened it. Standing in the doorway was a teenage girl about ny age. The way she stood told me something was off about her. She just stood there staring at me. It seemed like forever before she spoke. "Daddy said I could have a pet." I was shell-shocked. "A.....a pet?", I murmured. "Yeah, but you have to listen and be good or Daddy will punish you. You don't want Daddy to make you bleed." I half understood what she was saying.. "It hurts when Daddy makes me bleed.", she whispered, looking off to the side as if remembering some memory that was painful. "Where is your Daddy?", I asked, searching her face for a reaction. "I can't tell you. Daddy says Pets have to stay up here." "Like in the attic? I am in the attic?" I asked, trying to gain as much information about my surroundings as possible. "Um, I can't talk about things like that. Are you hungry? I brought you some food.", She asked in a child-like tone. She talked and acted like my younger cousin. I thought she might have a psychological disorder. I decided playing along may be the only way to get out of this. "Yeah, I am." "I brought you my biscuit and some water.", she said moving the biscuit to my mouth. I watched her, slowly opening my mouth to allowing her to feed me. "Good kitty, your so small. I'll bring you my biscuits and we can share from now on. I don't really need them anyways, because Daddy says I'm fat. I considered meowing, bit decided against it. I tried another question. "Why am I hear?" "Because your my pet. Daddy said if I train you to be good, I don't have to share you. He thinks a pet will teach me a lesson on sacrifice. He wants me to understand all he goes through to take care of me. I have to go now, Daddy will be home soon and I have to be sitting on the couch like a good girl when he gets home." She kissed my lips quickly, smiled shyly, and left the room locking the door behind her. I was left in the room, alone and scared.
