Jihoo&Jandi-My honorable firefighter

Dinner at Jandi's parents house

*Jihoo and Jandi arrive at Jandi's parents house. There is a little bit of tension in the air when they open the door until Kangsan runs out and hugs Jandi tight.*
Kangsan: Jandi, finally you came to see us.
*Kangsan leads them in the house.*
Jihoo: This is for you Mrs. Geum.
*He hands her a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and she stares at him in a daze while receiving the flowers.*
Jihoo: And this is for you Mr. Geum.
*He hands him an expensive bottle of red wine.*
Jihoo: Kangsan this is for you. I hope you like it.
*Jihoo bought Kangsan the latest model mobile phone.*
Kangsan: WOOOWWW! You are the best Jihoo! I love it! Thank you so much!
*Kangsan wraps his arms around Jihoo and Jihoo smiles.*
Jihoo: Now you can call Jandi whenever you miss her and come hang out in our house.
*Mrs. Geum shoves Mr. Geum with her elbow and says in a quiet voice.*
Mrs. Geum: He said our house.
*Jihoo notices that and smiles without saying anything.*
Jandi: Well what's for dinner?
*They gather around the table and start eating.*
Mrs. Geum: So Jandi, tell me did you finally get the divorce?
Jandi: I did, luckily he didn't give me any problems. Jihoo Sunbae helped me a lot with all the papers and Wubin Sunbae and Yijung Sunbae found me the best lawyer.
Mr. Geum: But Jandi, you took nothing from him, no money or a house even.
Jandi: I don't want anything his dad, I only wanted his love but since he couldn't give me that I'm fine with the divorce.
*Jihoo takes Jandi's hand and squeezes it gently. Jandi looks at him and gives him a smile. Mrs. Geum and Mr. Geum look at them and then at each other.*
Kangsan: Come on let's take a selfie together with my new phone!
*They all gather up and take a selfie together.*
Kangsan: I think we turned out great.
*After dinner they are sitting and having some tea.*
Jihoo: I'm sorry can I use the restroom?
Kangsan: Here I'll show you where it is.
*Kangsan leads Jihoo to the restroom and then returns.*
Mrs. Geum: Jandi, what's going on between you and Jihoo?
Jandi: Oh mom...
Mrs. Geum: Don't you oh mom me, you live in his house, you work with him, you are with him day and night. That boy have loved you since the day I've met him maybe even before that and he still does. What are you waiting for? Don't scare him away again?
*Jandi looks at her mom with her eyes wide open in attempt to say something but nothing comes out of her mouth.*
Mrs. Geum: What? You think I didn't know you refused his marriage proposal before? Sadly I found out too late. But he still loves you Jandi he takes care for you don't be stupid. If you refuse that boy again I'll stop being your mom.
*Midway through the conversation Jihoo is returning in the room. Hearing their conversation he hides to hear the rest. He smiles when he hears Mrs. Geum scolding Jandi. Jihoo enters the room as if nothing happened. Soon they are preparing to head back home.*
Jihoo: Mr. Geum, Mrs. Geum thank you for the dinner and hope to see you again soon. Come visit us at any time.
Jandi: Kangsan come and visit us soon ok?
Mr. Geum: Drive safe kids.
*Jandi and Jihoo go back home. They are in their pjs heading to bed. Jandi enters Jihoo's room who is already laying in bed.*
Jandi: I'm not sleepy. Can I stay here with you for a while?
*Jihoo gestures her to come.*
Jihoo: Come here.
*She lays next to him and puts her head on his chest. Jihoo's heart skips a beat. Even though surprised he slowly wraps his arms around her and slides his fingers through her hair.
Jihoo: Well I think it's safe to say that we have your parents and Kangsan on our side.
*Jandi jumps up and looks at Jihoo embarrassed.*
Jandi: You heard that?
*Jihoo smiles and gently pulls her back against his chest.*
Jihoo: I don't think there is anything wrong about them liking me. Do you? Unless you don't want them to like me.
Jandi: What? Of course I want them to like you. Why would I not want them to like you?
*Jihoo laughs*
Jihoo: Well, I'm glad we agree.
*After a while Jandi falls asleep in Jihoo's arms. Jihoo looks at her with a smile on his face thinking about how many nights he had fallen asleep wishing to wake up by her side and now it seems that his wish is finally coming true.*
