Louis stared at the two, anger and jealousy in his eyes.

“You really think I wouldn’t know that you two are together?” Louis asked, angrily.

“This isn’t what it looks like, Louis,” Legoshi said, nervously.

“Oh really? Then what are you doing in my office, and why is her shoe unbuckled, and where are her stockings?” Louis asked, getting angrier.

“First of all, I don’t wear stockings, they irritate my skin. Second, I just put my shoes on. You need to stop jumping to conclusions, and I don’t know why you’re getting so pissed off. It’s not like we slept together. I just met him days ago,” Aimi said, before pushing past him, and left after whispering. “I’m not like you,” Louis felt less anger and a wave of guilt, before feeling angry when she called. “You still wanna go get breakfast, Legosi?”

“Yeah,” Legoshi said, before walking past Louis, muttering. “Excuse me...” Louis stood in the doorway, not sure of what emotion to feel at that moment.

“Out of all the guys she could have moved on with she chose him...it had to be him,” Louis muttered. “Another carnivore...” he turned around and walked out of the drama room, watching the two talk and walk out of the building. ‘Why can’t she see that I just need her and that she needs me?’ He began following them outside of the building.

~At breakfast~

Legoshi walked with Aimi to the table with his friends.

“Morning guys,” Legoshi said. His friends looked up at Legoshi then directly at Aimi, before standing up to offer Aimi their chairs. “Whoa...sorry about that, they’re a little weird.”

“That’s fine, it’s cute,” Aimi said, holding her tray.

“Who’s your friend Legoshi?” Jack the Labrador Retriever asked, hiding his excitement about seeing his best friend with a girl.

“I’m Aimi,” Aimi said.

“Hi, I’m Jack!” Jack said, happily.

“Your tail is wagging,” Aimi said, giggling a little.

“Sorry, I’m happy. Legoshi doesn’t really interact with others well so it’s nice to see him talking to a girl,” Jack said. Aimi giggled softly, seeing Legoshi looking embarrassed.

“I interact with others, Jack,” Legoshi said.

“No you don’t,” Collot the Old English Sheepdog said.

“Anyway, how about we eat breakfast outside Aimi?” Legoshi suggested.

“Sure, it’s a beautiful morning outside. Well it was nice meeting you all,” Aimi said, before walking toward the door.

“You picked a good one, Legoshi,” Jack said happily, “She seems nice.”

“Yeah, we’re just friends, so could you calm down a little?” Legoshi asked his roommates.

“You like her don’t you?” Collot asked, making Legoshi tense up.

“I-it’s not like that...” Legoshi said, blushing lightly.

“Sure, you better get going. Wouldn’t want to keep her waiting outside,” Collot said.

“Right, I’ll see you guys later,” Legoshi said, walking toward the door.

“Tell us how it goes,” Collot teased, as he and his roommates sat back down at the table.

“It’s just breakfast,” Legoshi said, walking outside, finding Aimi, who was sitting under a tree.

“There you are, I thought you ditched me,” Aimi teased, sipping on fruit juice.

“Yeah sorry about that, my roommates are kinda...well...” Legoshi said, sitting down near Aimi.

“It’s fine, they’re funny,” Aimi said. “Let’s hurry and eat before our food gets cold.”

“Right,” Legoshi said, crossing his legs and starting to eat. Aimi began eating and looked up at the sky.

“Do you think Louis is going to bother us about earlier?” Aimi asked, poking at her breakfast, which was toast with strawberry jelly and a bowl of fruit salad.

“I don’t think so...it was pretty awkward though,” Legoshi said.

“I found it offensive,” Aimi said. “Does he really think I’m that easy? I slept with one person, but it took me a while to get to know them.”

“Really?” Legoshi asked, eating his food.

“It was my freshman year. I was an idiot girl who thought she was in love. I just want to fall in love...doesn’t everyone?” Aimi asked, looking at her tray.

“You’re right, everyone wants to fall in love. Especially in high school, but it will happen, just be patient, your soulmate will come,” Legoshi reassured.

“Thanks, Legoshi,” Aimi said, before beginning to eat her breakfast.

“For what?” Legoshi asked, seeming confused.

“The reassurance, I really needed it,” Aimi said, biting into her toast.

“Oh, no problem,” Legoshi said, eating his food.

“So, tell me, how in the world have you been here so long, and we’re just now meeting?” Aimi looked at him.

“That’s what I’m still trying to figure out. Maybe we weren’t meant to meet until now,” Legoshi said.

“I like that answer,” Aimi said, smiling a little.

“You do?” Legoshi asked.

“Definitely. Makes things seem magical,” Aimi said, finishing her piece of toast.

“Huh, I never thought of it like that,” Legoshi said.

“I’m glad you’re seeing things from a different perspective,” Aimi said, eating the rest of her breakfast. Legoshi nodded a little and continued to eat. The two continued to talk, Legoshi learning more about how Aimi was raised and what her interests were.

“So music is your passion?” Legoshi asked.

“Yeah, I love to sing,” Aimi said. “I just can’t sing in front of others. I get really nervous.”

“Oh, I bet you’re really good,” Legoshi said.

“I’m okay I guess,” Aimi said, shrugging a little, as she ate her fruit.

“Well I’d love to hear you one day,” Legoshi said.

“If I ever get a hold of my nerves you might be the first person I could perform in front of confidently,” Aimi said.

“I’ll be looking forward to it,” Legoshi said.

“So will I,” Aimi said, before hearing something, causing her ears to perk up. “I’ll be right back,” she got up and jogged toward the noise. She stopped, seeing a small white dwarf rabbit being bullied by a group of bullies. “Haru...” Aimi felt her heart race and ran toward the scene, going into protective mode. “Hey!” she said sternly.
