A young girl stood in the rain watching the two caskets being lowered into the ground. The raindrops hid the tears streaming down her face.
The people in the caskets were her parents.
Her nanny was watching her when they heard that Annaleise's parents passed away in a car accident.
After the funeral was over, Annaleise was given a piece of paper of the couple's will. On that paper it was said that she would move to America with a family of Germans who, at the moment, was raising her brother, Roderich.
It was a long flight and she was nervous about moving away from her home in Austria.

A lot had happened that week, her parents died, an arranged marriage for her was cancelled, and now, she was in America to live for the rest of her life. She went from nervous to terrified once the plane landed.
~Brooklyn, New York~
A young boy was in holding, for the fifth time that month. He had a bad history of violence and law breaking. He was also apart of one of the gangs in New York.
After a few hours of waiting, his mother came in and yelled at him for a good fifteen minutes. It was then decided that he would move with his older brother, Oliver, in Washington.
Alfred was really not excited as he walked onto the plane, leaving his home for who knows how long.
The flight was long and boring. People gave him nervous looks the whole time. He wasn't really a bad person, he just made some bad choices.
Once he got off the plane, he was instantly greeted by his brother. He just stood there and prayed that he'll be able to go home soon.
~2 years later~
Annaleise was trying to pull the skirt of her school uniform down lower. She was not happy of the length, it was a bit too short for her liking.
She had her book bag on her shoulder as she walked down the halls to her next class.
~
The first year was a bit hard for she didn't know English very well. But once she was able to learn most of the language, life there got a little bit easier.
She mainly kept to herself, expressing herself through either violin or piano.
One thing she didn't like the most was that her ex fiancé lived in the town she had moved to.
Whenever she walked by herself, he would walk over to her and try to talk or flirt with her. It annoyed her greatly.
~
Al pretty much owned the school after he moved. The other students were just too scared of him to actually tell him what to do.
He loved the power.
As he walked along the hallways, he bumped into a girl.
The girl so happened to be Annaleise.
As she fell, her skirt flew up. When she look up at him, her face was bright red.
"Next time... Watch where you're going.." She gathered up her things quickly.
"Sorry kitten." He smirked.
Her face flushed at what he said and she let out a small 'huff' "Don't call me that!"
Annalise stormed off in a spilt second.
" damn..." Al watched get walk away, smirking the entire time.
