Julia's alarm clock rang, waking her up from her deep slumber. She turned over in her bed and turned it off. Realising that it was still 6:45 am, she put her head back comfortably on the pillow and closed her eyes. As she was about to fall back to sleep, her phone rang, forcing her to get back up again. Julia looked at the caller ID. It was her close friend, Isla Jenkins.
.....
"....ughhhh..... Islaaaa.... do you know what time it is?"

"What?!?! Don't tell me you just got up. We have a class at 7 today remember?!"

"What are you talking about?..... That's not till Monday...."

"Julia Annesley! Where has your brain gone? Today is Monday!!!"
.....

Julia's eyes widened as she began to recollect that she actually did have a class at 7. She scrambled off the bed and hurried to grab her uniform from her closet, not bothering to make her bed.

.....
"Oh no. I must've forgot to set my alarm clock to 6. Isla, can you wait for me at the front gate. I'll be there soon."

"How soon is that going to be?"

"Um..... 15 minutes???"

"No can do Jules. I'll be expecting you to be here in 10."

"What?! There's no way I can get there in 10! It takes me 5 minutes to walk to school and I still have to get ready!"

"Whatever. Just know that I'm not going to cover for you if you come late, you got that?"

"Gotcha. I"m gonna hang up now, see you at school."
.....

Julia scurried to the toilet and quickly changed into her uniform. She grabbed a hair tie and put it around her wrist. She quickly packed her bag, including her laptop and swung it over her shoulder. She grabbed her phone from the bedside table, shoved it into her pocket and ran out the door. As she was running down the stairs, she quickly tied her hair up with the hair tie around her wrist as neatly as she could. Running past the kitchen, she grabbed an apple from the fruit basket and continued to dash towards the door. After taking about 10 seconds to put her shoes on, she ran out of the house with the apple in her mouth, hoping with all her heart that she would get to school in time.

Riley Matthews walked, with earphones plugged in, towards Spring Gardens School of Fine Arts. He saw his friend Damien Wayne, standing near the front gates. Damien saw him and waved Riley over.
"Yo! Riles." Damien greeted, giving Riley a high-five.
"Wassup Damien?" Riley greeted back, taking his earphones out of his ears and putting them away.
Damien yawned, "Nothing much."
"Cool."
"Hey, did you hear? We have camp next week." Damien pronounced.
The news was totally new to Riley. "Really? I didn't know."
"Well, I guess I'm the first one to tell you then."
"Hm... yeah."

The two were busy talking that they didn't see someone sneak up behind them.

"Boo!"
Damien and Riley jumped in fright. They turned to see who it was.
"ISLA!!!" They cried in unison, making her laugh.
"Don't do that ever again. I could've gotten a heart attack." Damien told her.
"Pfft..... as if. But ok, I won't do it again." Isla replied, still laughing at their reaction.
Riley looked around. "Where's Julia? I thought she'll already be here by now."
Isla glanced at him. "What is this? Why're you looking for her?"
Riley stuttered,"W-What? N-nothing! Just t-that it's a-almost time to head to c-class."
She smirked. "Yeah right. Whatever. She should be coming soon anyways."

After a few minutes, Damien got bored. So he took his phone out and started to play a game. Riley looked over Damien's shoulder to see what he was playing. Taking out his own phone, he joined Damien and they began a vigorous game of (name of random game). As they were playing, Riley got a message from someone. He stopped playing and checked to see who it was..........
