Epilogue

I sat on the sandy beach, relaxing with my two favorite people in the world - Laurane and Melody.

Carly was on a vacation with her parents, so she wasn't able to join us, and Laurane had explained to Jesse that this was strictly a "girls trip", so he stayed behind.

It was the perfect way to spend the summer after our high school graduation.

I had found out that I was pregnant with Melody shortly after Aaron had dumped me - and after I had found out that he had been cheating on me with Carly.

After Aaron broke both of our hearts, Carly and I became close friends - along with Laurane, of course.

The two of them helped me immensly with raising Melody as a baby.

Being Aaron's sister, Laurane still loved him, but she rarely spoke with him.

After his graduation, he had moved to New York, while we stayed in Georgia. He was far away, which was best for everyone.

And as for Aaron, well, he didn't even know that he was a dad. He had graduated and left before I started to show, and I finished out high school with some online classes once Melody was born.

Melody.

I looked over at her, playing in the sand, enjoying all of the things a one year old should. I stared at her beautiful face, with those eyes just like her fathers, and I knew that everything was going to be just fine.

Ta da!! My Best Friend's Brother is OFFICIALLY completed! What do you guys think of the epilogue? Of Sammi getting pregnant? Of basically everything??
