"That" biology class:
*the teacher explaining sex* *boy cracking jokes about it*
the teacher snapped at the boy "Hey! Do you think this is a joke? You have to understand the concept of consent. Why do you think everybody is out and about with candles to sympathise about Nirbhaya! Or do you think that it isa joke too?" Boy, she was really angry this time. She was one of Chhavi's favourite teacher and hardly ever got angry. Everyone knew that if she was angry, they must have done something very wrong. Nirbhaya was a 23 year old who was gang-raped in a moving bus and got fatal injuries which later resulted in her death. People all around the country came to the streets to sympathise. THIS was not something one could crack a joke on. She then explained what exactly happened to Nirbhaya and why all that the media talked about was this.
Suddenly everything became dark around Chhavi. She froze in her seat. Her palms suddenly became sweaty . Everything suddenly started to make sense.
