Hi. Hope you are enjoying this. Kay so this might be more than just a "one shot" oops so today in school we had that serious health talk and all right? so he was listing things about an unhealthy relationship and I was sub concisely comparing them to Malec. And let's say malec isn't the best relationship....but honestly that's okay because they're adorable
When I type "Malec" it autocorrects to "Naked". Coincidence? I think not.
PART THREE
They were both breathless by the time they reached the restaurant.
"Remind me...why...you we had to...run...all the way...here," Alec said in between breaths. He slipped his hand out of Magnus' and put it on his knees, bending over.
"I thought shadowhunters didn't get tired easily?" Magnus joked.
"Yeah, well, I wasn't expecting to run five miles..."
"It wasn't five miles,"
"Was too." Alec insisted and Magnus laughed.
"So you have to be expecting it?" He asked. Alec looked at him. "The exercise, I mean."
He straightened his back and looked him right in the eye. "Yes." Alec said with mock sincerely.
Magnus laughed again and grabbed Alec's hand again. It was slightly sweaty but he didn't care. He just wanted to feel Alec's hand against his own.
They walked into the restaurant. "Whoa," Alec breathed as he looked around. Magnus smiled at him then turned to the waiter who led them to their seats.
He looked up at the arched ceiling, and the paintings that bordered it. Every table was adorned with a candle and a royal purple tablecloth. It was impressive, for a mundane restaurant.
Magnus slid into the booth as the waiter walked away, after placing two menus across each other. Alec slid into the seat across from Magnus.
Magnus, who was inspecting his menu, set it down and looked over at him. "May I ask," He began. "Why on earth you are not sitting next to me?"
"I-the waiter put the menu here," Alec shrugged.
"Since when does a mundane tell you not to sit next to your boyfriend?" He asked. "And besides, we both know you could rather be sitting next to me."
Alec felt his cheeks flush pink, but he got up and squeezed in next to Magnus. "Magnus!" He suddenly hissed when he felt a hand on his butt, pulling him closer.
"What?" Magnus replied innocently, looking back at his menu.
"We're in public!"
"So?" He looked up from his menu again, surveying Alec's face.
"Your hand-it's-it's-" Alec felt awkward. Magnus hadn't moved his hand.
"On your butt?" He suggested.
"Public!" Alec hissed under his breath, and Magnus laughed, drawing the attention of people around them.
Alec blushed ferociously at the thought of someone seeing Magnus' hand on his butt.
"Don't worry," Magnus suddenly said into his ear, making him jump. "I put on glamour."
"You put glamour..." He paused. "On my butt?"
"Mmmhmmm," Magnus took his hand off. Alec felt slightly less on-edge, but honestly he missed his hand. Okay, that was a pervert thought. Alec thought, shaking his head. He picked up his menu and scanned it over.
Nothing looked interesting, and half this stuff didn't even make sense. Like "Chrismas Waffles" and "Santa's Soup".
"Magnus, what is half this stuff?" Alec asked, scrunching up his nose. Magnus found this completely adorable and was tempted to lean over and kiss his nose, but then he remembered he had asked him something.
"What is it, dear?" He asked, still skimming his menu.
"These meals don't make sense," Alec sighed.
"Just order something that sounds good."
Alec sighed again and was looking over the meals when he felt Magnus slip his hand into his own. Alec smiled faintly and Magnus felt special. I'm making him do this, He thought. I'm making him smile. He's smiling, and all I did was hold his hand. He felt giddy.
Magnus looked over at Alec, he looked so perfect. He loved his hair, and his voice, his face, and his jacket. Although, he probably loved the jacket because he had bought it for him. The point is, Magnus thought Alec looked perfect.
Magnus heard someone walk up, it was the waiter. She looked at them. "May I take your order...gentlemen?"
Alec looked down, scanning the menu. "Uhhh..." He mumbled.
"I'll go ahead and order," Magnus said, giving him more time to think. Magnus quickly ordered and then Alec (who had just picked something random) did the same.
Alec wasn't sure what they talked about, but they talked until the food came. Magnus would tease Alec, Alec would blush, then Magnus would proceed to kiss him. This continued on and on and eventually (after quite a few stares from mundanes who, Magnus thought, didn't appreciate gays much) the food arrived.
Alec stared at the random food he had ordered. He wrinkled his nose. What in the world is this?
Magnus saw his disgusted look and laughed. "You don't know what you ordered, did you just pick something?"
Alec nodded sheepishly, scopping some food and turning his fork as he examined it. Slowly he put it in his mouth. "Mmm," he said, it was surprisingly good.
Magnus leaned over and kissed his nose. He thought Alec was just being so cute. He really wanted to push him up against the wall and kiss him passionately...but they were in a restaurant.
About an hour later after both of them had finished, Magnus took him outside and did just that.
