I looked around. Though the lights were on, I felt the eerie atmosphere weigh down on me.

"There is a phone in the office," my manager, Mike, said. "There are messages he left for you for every night you serve here. You can leave after your first week but if you want to continue, its your choice."

"Okay," I said with a shiver. "6 o'clock right?"

"6 o'clock."

He left. I stared at the animatronics, they seemed alive. I walked quickly to the office and rewinded the clips. I listened to the first clip and the horror show began.

I pulled up the iPad. None of the animatronics had moved. I relaxed. No use burning up the batteries. I sat there for twenty minutes before the first one moved. I heard a BOOM and quickly searched. Freddy was in the girls' restroom, staring at me with those frightening eyes.

BOOM. Bonnie was standing by the tables.

BOOM. Chica was in the janitor's closet.

Then an eerie skittering sound. Foxy was running down the hallway. I drew out my baton and hit the animatronic as it tried to hit me. It wobbled back before I shut the door. Freddy now stood outside the other door. I closed that and heard Foxy skitter away. I opened the door and searched for him. He was in his original spot behind a curtain stage.

I sighed. Freddy was now back at the stage. I opened the door.

Then the phone rang.

"Hello?" It was the guy from the recordings. "If you are hearing this, then the animatronics have attacked from both sides at the same time and returned to the stage. I want to tell you something about the kidnapping." I felt my heart stop. "We had a spare Golden Freddy suit in the back. Someone used it. Took the kids into a janitor's closet. I found their bodies last night. They're in the animatronics. That's why they smell bad and ooze blood. The bodies are in there. They're in there."

A memory hit me. Five children. Three boys, two girls.

I knew the children. But why? It was my first time here.

6 o'clock rang after hours of shutting doors. I walked out of the building, watching the animatronics climb back into their positions on the stage.
