Chapter 8: A Family United

I noticed something in the distance.

It started to move closer and closer. I think Lumine noticed it too when he said, "Stay back!" The then turned into his wolf form and got ready to attack.

"Wait!" I shouted. Lumine looked puzzled as I watched the figure come out of the woods.

""Dad!" He shouted as he hugged him.

Narrator's P.O.V.

Lumine stood back as Kody put his arm in front of him as the figure went into the light.

The figure was wearing a black hoodie with black pants. His hair was black with green eyes. It was Aiden.

Kody immediately realized who it was and ran towards him, immediately hugging him.

"Oh? Haha, I didn't expect to see you guys here." Aiden happily said.

"How are you alive—I mean...what happened." Kody yelled as he cried. He could not believe that he had his dad back.

"It's ok son, I'll explain everything later, but for now, where are you guys staying?"

Lumine walked over and said, "We are right now staying at a person named Camille."

"Oh, haha. I forgot Camille lived around here." Aiden said.

"You know her?" Kody said in a monotone voice. He finally let go of his father and walked over to Lumine, holding his hand.

"Yea. It's a long story... Let's go, I'm cold." Aiden said, suddenly shivering.

The three slowly started making their way down the hill. Lumine fell, which made Kody and Aiden laugh. Lumine blushed and threw a snowball at Kody. This led to a full out war, Aiden joining in too.

After about an hour, they started going on their way and made their way to the house.

When they got to the house, they walked in. Camille walked into the room.

"Oh hey Kody, Lumine, and oh? Aiden..."

"Yeah..."

"I didn't expect to see you. How did you—"

"Ok, ok... I'll tell you all about what happened. Just give me a few minutes..."

After a few minutes, they all sat down on the couch to hear Aiden's story.
