Hi.
My name's Emma and i would like to say I am a normal year 12 but I'm not. I'm one of the kids that is smart but does the stupidest stuff imaginable. I once used my laptop as a frisbee because we were bored. I broke my bestie's (Jessica's) arm........I mean she was fine.........after 6 weeks. But anyways, essentially coronavirus nearly screwed up my entire freakin life. Year 12 nearly failed I nearly didn't have any exams. AT ALL.
It was Tuesday the 15th of March and we were at school preparing for exams which were the next day. We go home and everything seems okay. Then the next day exams are cancelled. Desks are moved away. Hand sanitiser at every turn. Sent home if you sniff. It's insane. Then two weeks of this madness we're all sent home. Schools around the country closing by the minute. Then half of us are thinking we are getting a free holiday no school no worries. One quarter of us know we re still gonna have school. Then there are the year 12's. We all realised if we don't get an exam/ATAR score we aren't gonna be able to get into Uni, so we all panicked. The stages were as follows:
- Denial
- Panic
- Stress
- Anger
- Sadness
- More denial
- Crying + Acceptance
Yep.
