Chapter 24

Lily's POV

I had to admit I was very nervous, my heart started to race as Crystal opened the door, I guess she was nervous too by the expression on her face.

"So what do you think?" Crystal asked me.

"Perfection! Why would you ever leave this place?" I exclaimed.

"Well... Anyways we don't need to worry about that, come on we have to greet my Ice parents!" Crystal said.

I know she's hiding something from me, and I will find out.

Curiosity kills me once again.

I could definitely tell that those where her parents standing with a straight face infront of me.

"Mum, dad... This is my friend Lily, and before you say anything she isn't like what you think. She has been with me through everything, and I trust her, you should too! She's... My only friend that has ever been there for me, I met other girls but they are so rude, look at Lily, she isn't one if those rude girls!" Crystal explained.

I wanted to cry at what she said, I'm lucky to have her.

"Hello... I'm Lily as you can tell," I said shyly.

"Hello sweetheart," Crystal's mother said, okay looks like her mum is a nice person, not sure about her straight faced dad.

I smiled to her parents trying to look... "Innocent," well I hope it works.

"So we hear that you are Crystal's closest friend?" Her dad asked me.

"Actually my only friend," Crystal added in.

"Yes, and you can trust me with this secret, I would never do anything to ruin it," I said.

"You will be harmed if you hurt Crystal," her dad warned.

I gulped, I was very nervous.

"Dad, seriously? She's like my only friend, stop being so strict!" Crystal yelled.

"I am your father, I will do as I please," her dad replied.

"You're not my dad! This isn't my family! I don't belong here! How did I ever put up with you?! I'm leaving, and never coming back! I actually shouldn't have to tell you who knows about my secret, because you are not my parents!" Crystal yelled at her "dad."

Wow that was quite a speech.

She left the castle and so did I.

"I didn't expect that..." I said.

"Me neither, but who cares?" She replied.

She flashed both of us home, guess I'll never visit the Ice Castle again...

As we went into Crystal's house her mum was washing the dishes and turned to us, "wow, you're home early... How did it go?" Her mum asked.

"Not so good, but I don't care, I'm never visiting them again!" Crystal replied.

"Oh... Um, okay whatever makes you happy," her mum then turned back to the dishes.

We walked up to Crystal's room, and sat down, I heard her sigh, she must be tired.

"You...okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine."

"No you're not." I said back.

"I'm not in the mood Lily."

"Want me to go?" I asked.

"Whatever, anyways I got things to do so see you tomorrow, " she replied.

I didn't answer, I just got up and went off home, she needs to learn how to manage her attitude!
