Prologue

  "Kill everyone! No survivors!"

Those were the words I remembered when my family was massacred. That day, everything was taken away from me. Leaving me the sole survivor.

We were what is called a Siren. Also known by the name, The Forgers. An extinct race now. Eliminated by the Shinigami. My race was thought of as a threat because of our abilities. We had the Shinigami's, Quincy's, and Hollow's abilities. Even some other hidden ones as well. We created Zanpakutous and placed their spirits in there. We could communicate with them and gave them their names. We could even take a fallen Zanpakutou and make it our own. Too much power for a human or spirit to handle, according to them. But we were a peaceful race! Never killed anyone unless it was self defense, even then we were hesitate about killing.

Thirteen Captains came and wiped out my race. No mercy. I saw men, women, even children, no older then infants, being slaughtered in the streets like dogs. Some more ruthless then others.

I heard one captain ask, "Can I take some as for my experiments?"

"Denied. Central ordered eliminate and exterminate. No more, no less." To think that someone I knew would have been taken away as a lab rat!

It was obvious to tell who was a Siren and wasn't. Our eyes always gave us away. One eye a bright gold and the other a shiny silver.

My Mother had hid me under the house in a secret room that blocked any signs of spiritual pressure.

"Don't come out until you hear silence." That's what she ordered. So I obeyed. I knew Father had gone out to fight. To protect. When I heard Mother scream, I also knew he was dead. Since our race was so peaceful, hardly anyone knew how to fight. Those who did were considered animals.

When I finally heard silence, I slipped out from my hiding place and saw the littered bodies of my family and friends. I screamed in agony. It felt like someone ripped out my heart.

I buried the bodies of my family by the White Woods next to our home. I had nowhere to go. Everyone I knew was dead. Their Zanpakutous were left on the ground, confused without a Master. Quickly I collected as many as I could and laid them down in a line. In total I had about twelve Zanpakutous, not including my own. I smiled sadly and touched one. I could hear them crying, at least that's what Akuma and Angel said. I knew how they felt, lost without anyone.

I piled them together and touched their spirits. They seemed surprised that there was more then one Zanpakutou spirit all together. I heard a mixture of sad and monotone voices.

'Hello.' I said softly, silencing them. 'I lost my family. Would you like to be my new one?' I asked and they accepted. I put them into a separate dimension to make sure they wouldn't get stolen somehow.

I slept alone that night.

The next morning, I saw a man in front of me. "Would you like a place to live at little one?" He asked me holding out his hand. With a nod, I took it.
