You were laying down, in the arms of someone. You slowly sat up, trying to not disturb their sleep and wrapped the blanket around your naked body. You got up and walked over to the window. You stared out the window, looking at all the stars and suns; the galaxy was beautiful. You stood in awe, admiring the universe in all its glory. You could hear a shift in the distance, the man had gotten up from the bed. You had hoped that you didn't wake them, but you did. They walked over to you at the window and stood behind you. They wrapped their arms around your waist, and kissed the top of your head. "What are you staring at babe?" They asked, in a low, raspy whisper.
"Isn't it just so beautiful. The stars, the planets....I've lived and flown this universe my whole life, and I never stopped to see how breathtaking it could be..." you said in a quiet, low voice. They leaned down to kiss your shoulder, then your neck.
"It's all yours, you know that right." They said resting their head on your shoulder. "The stars, the moons, suns and planets, they're yours. Everything I do is for you my love. This galaxy is ours, and one day it will be our children's too." You could feel a smile creep up on your lips. You were just about to turn around to kiss them and then-
You woke up, startled. There was a pounding on the cockpit door. You got up and opened it. It was a stormtrooper, and in the background were the other 4. You rubbed your eyes and yawned. "What is it?" You said frantically because they gave you a scare.
"Good afternoon General. We-"
"Afternoon?!" You repeated in an exaggerated tone. You walked over and looked out of the cockpit windows. The light outside was not a morning sunrise, it was a hot like mood that indicated it was 12 in the afternoon.
"Yes General. Time moves faster on this planet. Back on base it's 7 in the morning, but here the days are faster and it is already the middle of the day." You sighed and walked back over to the door.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know." You said straightening yourself out. You were kind of embarrassed to be a General talking to stormtroopers...in your pajamas. "Anyways, what was it you need to tell me." You said walking out of the cockpit and politely asking for the stormtroopers to move aside as you walked behind the refreshment bar. You looked for breakfast rations.
"Yes General, we just wanted to inform you that we will all be leaving for the rest of the day. Commander Kylo Ren has estimated that by tomorrow morning we will be leaving." He said, awaiting your answer.
"Oh.." you said, tearing open a breakfast ration. "Will anyone keep me guard today?" You questioned. You hoped that someone would be standing post like they did yesterday. Even though you didn't talk to them, the thought of having company around made you feel a little better; made you feel not so alone. The stormtrooper shook his head.
"No unfortunately Commander Ren said you wouldn't be needing guards today."
"Commander Ren." You scuffed to yourself. "What a joke.." you said as you poured the breakfast ration into a bowl of milk. It inflated into yogurt covered with oats and some type of artificial fruit flakes. You could tell the stormtroopers were uncomfortable about the comment you made. People usually didn't talk bad about Kylo behind his back. He cleared his throat.
"Commander Ren said it was safe enough for you to stay alone today. We will be gone until the morning." They said. You nodded and they began to head out.
"Actually.." you said, catching their attention, causing the group to stop. "Where is Commander Ren?" You asked, stirring the yogurt. The stormtroopers looked at each other.
"He left earlier this morning General." One of them said.
"Oh ok, that's all..." you said, still stirring the yogurt. They left and you walked over to the table and ate brunch by yourself. After eating, you got up and threw away all the trash. Slumped and unmotivated, you walked over to the cockpit to grabbed your bag. You made your way to the bathroom, wiped your face off with the face wipes, applied deodorant, changed underwear and socks, and changed back into your regular uniform. You thought about fixing your hair, but you would be practically alone today, so you just combed it and let it fall down naturally. You were kind of thrown off by the lack of makeup you didn't have on, it wasn't like you didn't wear a lot anyways. You looked at your natural face in the mirror and gave yourself a smile and thumbs up. You tried your best to cheer yourself up, even if that meant being as cheesy to yourself as possible. You applied the tinted chapstick and headed out of the bathroom. You threw the bag into the cockpit, grabbed your data pad and walked into the middle of the ship. It was really going to be just you all day huh? You sat down at the edge of the table, staring at the wall. Your mind started to wander and think about last night. You thought about Kylo. The way he talked to you, the way Kylos hands felt on your throat. You shifted, a little uncomfortable The hairs on your arm stood up. You weren't trying to get turned on right now. No one had touched you like that in awhile...it had been 3 years since anyone touched you like that. The last person you had sex with was your old pilot instructor, and that was AFTER you graduated. It was only a 2 week fling before he transferred bases. Anybody who you slept with was passionate and sweet, but they were never as rough as Kylo was. You hated being talked down to; hated being treated like trash in general. Yet, when Kylo did it...you didn't want him to stop. It felt good to not be in control for once, to be dominated instead of being the dominant one. The way he strung you along, making you beg for more. You felt like puddy in his hands; you felt so right in his hands. When he touched you, he hit all of the right spots. It was almost like he was familiar with your body. You usually didn't like sleeping with superiors, and didn't want anyone to think you slept your way to the top. You didn't want to be like every other person he had slept with, just a play thing then transferred to a different base. Hopefully, last night was a one time thing...but a part of you hoped it would go on just for one more night. 'You weren't on base, how was anyone going to find out?!' You thought. You snapped out of your thoughts and stood up. You needed something productive to do, to get out of the ship. You snatched the data pad from the table and headed over to the door hatch. You lowered the ship's entrance and stepped outside for the first time in a day. You breathed in the crisp and fresh air. It felt good to get out of that dark ship. You walked around, making sure not to strain too far from the ship. You cleared your head, just trying to be present in the moment. Sometimes you would lay down on the leaf covered ground and stare up at the sky, and look at how it was so different from the base. You would observe and play with different plants you found. An hour passed by and it was becoming late afternoon. Your data pad started to buzz and it was a halo call from your mother. You answered lifting it to your face *like a FaceTime call*.
