"I can't start anything." Yoongi whispers to himself. It's already 8:30 PM and he's still in his office. He's currently writing a few pages of his book and honestly, he can't write anything right now. He feels clouded and drained from the tiny workspace he's in. He rubs his eyes and shuts his laptop off. The heavy feeling in his chest settles in once again and he just lets it be. His eyes drift to his wrist that still had the stupid timer. 124:19:92.

He doesn't want to believe how soulmates are real and people should stop wrapping their heads waiting for their 'better half' bullshit. But there he is with a ticking time clock that he doesn't even want to stop. He rejects the idea and it's not because he doesn't want love, he's just occupied right now (well, he thinks he is.)

He packs his stuff and slings his messenger bag over him. Taking his phone and Iced Americano, he leaves his office on his way to his very own humble abode. Every night is like this. The bustling city of Seoul keeps him awake as he walks with the people. No one bothers to spare him a glance and he's thankful for that. The cold breeze hitting his honey cheeks making him smile and he takes it as a reminder that he's alive.

"Yoongi!" The sweet, angelic, velvety voice greets him on the glass door of his apartment building. It's Seokjin. Warmth spreads across his chest and tries his best to keep his shit together. Seokjin has a smile on his pink lips and walks towards him. Yoongi smiles and greets his Hyung. "You're just about to go home?" Seokjin asks, concern evident in his voice. Yoongi nods softly knowing he'll get scolded again.

Yoongi wishes it was Seokjin. He wishes it was him to be his soulmate but if it was him then numbers on his wrist should've stopped. They're now inside the elevator and having small talks. They've been friends for years but they don't see each other often. Seokjin is busy being a teacher at a daycare and Yoongi is a frustrated writer.

"Do you want to come for dinner? Jimin misses his uncle Yoonie." Seokjin laughs and looks at his best friend. Yoongi's cheeks flush red and he lets out a chuckle.

"You know I can't say no to that."

They both get out of the lift at the same building floor, 24. Yoongi tells Seokjin to let him change before going to see him and Jimin. Seokjin cracks a joke and tells how old he sounds. Yoongi chuckles and goes to his apartment. He slides down the door and takes a breather.

"Why can't it be just you, Hyung?"

"Uncle Yoonie!" Jimin exclaims while rushing down the door. Yoongi smiles immediately and squats down for the upcoming hug from the little man. Jimin giggles and Yoongi takes him in. The scent of Jimin filling his nostrils and he hugs him tight. "I missed you, Uncle!" Jimin says and kisses his cheek. Yoongi's heart swells, looking up, he sees Jin with a smile.

"Well, I missed you more than you do!" Yoongi tries to convince Jimin because it is in fact true. He missed the little man that he even bought a children's book when he was in Japan. They both let go and Jimin drags him to the dining room where everything is already set up. The aroma of Kimchi Stew and Samgyupsal makes his stomach grumble and Jin lets out a giggle. "Someone's hungry!"

The dinner table was for five people but it doesn't feel lonely. Jimin's stories about his best friend Taehyung at school occupies his mind.

"Taehyung is really funny! He's my best friend and I love him very much." Jimin tries to be serious about it but the adults laugh and so does he.

"So you replaced me with Taehyung?" Yoongi teases while taking a bite of the grilled meat. Jimin's eyes is suddenly filled with worry and shake his head aggressively. Jin takes the time to appreciate the situation. It's very domestic and he doesn't know why and how but he feels very..connected. Connected in a way that it's been a while since Yoongi was in his house and how long it was since he saw his gummy smile.

"Right, Appa?" Jimin catches his attention and realizes that the two of them were already looking at him. He nods and Jimin lets out a sigh. "Everyone is school thinks Appa is very handsome but they don't know I'm more handsome!"

"They just haven't seen me yet." Yoongi tries okay. His bashing attitude as if he's very handsome (Well he is) makes him have this humor that makes the Kim family happy and delighted. They finish dinner and Jin takes Jimin to his room for bedtime (but not before Jimin kisses Yoongi's cheeks again for a good night's kiss).

Yoongi is left in the kitchen, washing the dishes and his eyes drifts to the timer again in his wrist. He feels his heart drop and he's breath hitches. The timer that was supposed to continue but it didn't. It already stopped with the numbers '124-19-92.'

He tries to think of the meaning behind it but he doesn't know. Did he already meet his soul mate? If he did then he could've felt something, right? It was told that if you met the love of your life, you would feel sudden pressure and heat across your whole body. You'll sweat and you let your feet be dragged to wherever that person maybe. But it never happened to him? Who could it may-

"Min Yoongi, why are you washing the dishes?" He turns around and sees the most beautiful man he ever set his eyes on. Seokjin.
