In the walls of my house
In the walls of my room
I feel smaller than a mouse
I feel brighter than a moon
Like a diamond hidden in muck
I was mistaken too soon.
I will not be stuck these walls
The walls of my room
Because I am smaller than a mouse
And I am brighter than the moon.
They thought I was like them
They laughed as they went
And they fled when they saw
I was not dead; only broken
The construction is not finished yet
I am still breaking down
The walls of my house
The walls of my room.
I am still picking up
All the pieces you threw
After I gather the pieces
I will be made new.
Until then, I am stuck
In the walls of my room.
