"I'm leaving!" I yelled.
"Todoroki Touya! Come back here this instant!" Father screamed.
I stood at the door putting on my shoes. "Touya-nii don't go," my sister Fuyumi pleaded.
I put my hand on her white and red hair, "He won't hurt you, but do your best to protect Nastuo and Shoto okay, promise me."
She nodded whilst tears fell down her eyes.
Todoroki Enji marched down the hall, "Run," I whispered to my younger sister.
She nodded and scuttled away into another room.
"Where will you go?!" Father boomed his flames intensed.
"Anywhere where you aren't," I retorted. "I warned you before you sent Mom away that I'll leave."
"Go, you ungrateful brat, " Father snarled. "You'll be back with your tail between your legs by sunrise."
"Go ahead and bet on it," I snarled back. "See how much money you lose when I don't come back."
I stormed out the door, however before I closed it I looked the old man in the eye and said: "If you hurt Shoto, I will come back but only to kill you."
The door slammed shut and I marched away ready to start a new life.
I had taken at least a million dollars worth of yen from Father's account before leaving so I was not short on cash.
I got on a train straight to Kyoto. When I got there I searched for the nearest barbers.
When I had found one, I went in and sat down in one of the chairs.
"What do you need shounen?" The barber asked.
"I need to dye my hair black," I replied. "Dye on my eyebrows if that's possible as well, I don't want a single trace of red."
"Trying to change your look?" The man asked as he got ready to dye my hair.
"Trying to erase my past," I said solemnly. The man raised an eyebrow but worked quietly for the rest of the job.
I had found an apartment block, that was taking in students, I too young to be living on my own but I was tall enough and had enough cash that the man who gave me the flat didn't question me.
When I unpacked my belongings I found two pictures, one of the whole family and one of just Mom. Fuyumi had most probably had put it there.
