Stanley Barber is just your average teenager . Except they like to walk barefoot , smoke weed , and has to deal with their alcoholic and abusive father . But they don't let those things bring them down , constantly carrying on a cheery and happy attitude . They know about their best friend , Sydney's , powers and would totally love to be able to shape - shift . But until then , Stanley will just stick with being her " mentor . "
