Your death was a tragedy, shaking Overwatch's members. You were like family to them, and you were missed by them all, especially Lena, who had been your mother for as long as you could remember. Lena was filled with joy that morning, and there was one reason. That morning, Jack had called Lena to his office, and told her that you maybe survived.
Lena- "(Y/n) is still alive!"
Jack- "I said maybe she is still alive. It's possible (Y/n) survived in hell, but without food or water, it doesn't seem likely. But the timestamp on her armor says otherwise."
Lena- "What are we waiting for, we gotta bring her back!"
Jack- "Hold on a minute, we can't go to Hell, we don't even know how!"
Felixis opened the door, revealing herself to the two. She had a smile that said she knew something.
Felixis- "I can open a Hell Portal, but not for very long."
Lena- "Yes!"
Jack- "So we have a way into Hell, but no idea where to start first! It's not like we have a guide with us!"
Felixis- "I can guide you through Hell."
Jack- "Oh, how did I not see that coming?"
Felixis- "I know my ways around Hell. I can lead you as we search."
Lena- "We have a way into Hell, and a guide to show us the way, what else do we need!"
Jack- "Supplies and weapons for starters."
Lena- "Then lets get our stuff and go!"
Lena was far to excited about this, but learning that you are alive has her on edge. She quickly zipped around the base, gathering supplies for the expedition. She had already gathered everything she thought she needed; pulse pistols, food, medical supplies, air filter mask, along with much else. Jack had gotten his pulse rifle, food, medical supplies, and his mask. Felixis had gotten her armor, Argent axe, super shotgun, and the required items to open a portal, she needed nothing more.
The three gathered together in a private room, where Felixis set up to open the portal. Jack dragged Lena out of the room for a second.
Lena- "Jack, what are you doing?"
Jack- "Lena, I just want you to know, there might be a chance that (Y/n) is dead. If we find out that it's true..."
Lena- "OK, I won't loose it!"
Felixis pokes her head out the door.
Felixis- "The portal is ready."
Jack and Lena enter the room once again. In the middle of the room is a large red portal with fleshy bits growing beneath it.
Felixis- "Through the portal."
She gestures for someone to go through. Lena zips through first, followed by Jack and Felixis. The feminine Marauder rose her hand and the Portal closed.
Felixis- "We can't risk any other Demons getting into your world."
Jack- "Good thinking."
Felixis- "Now I must warn you, my world is much different from yours. Our time is strange, and not all places in our world follow the same pace of time, a side effect from consuming worlds into our own. So it's best if you limit your usage of your Chronal Accelerator, Lena."
Lena- "Right. So where do we start?"
Felixis- "From here, we start at the Icon of Sin's grave."
They trek for a short period of time, reaching the massive corpse of the Icon, buried under a collapsed Hell structure. It looked like it had already been laying there for a decade.
Jack- "Jesus, that thing is massive! How's it already buried under all this rubble?"
Felixis- "As I said, time is different here. What could be one year on Earth could be a millennia in Hell."
The walk around the site, finding the bones of Demons unlucky enough to be trapped when the Icon fell, and a set of boot prints leading away from the corpse.
Lena- "Tracks!"
Jack- "Good eye!"
Jack rushes over and inspects the tracks.
Jack- "Military boot prints. I'd know em' anywhere."
Lena- "So that means the wen't that way!"
She points in the direction the boot prints lead. That gave them a direction, so they went along in that way, following the boot prints for hours until coming across a cave, lined with doors ad weapons for defense. They made their way through unseen up to a large door, inside was a laser grid, protecting the room inside. The lasers deactivated and the three walked inside.
Inside was an older man, with a scared face, and white armor much like a Praetor suit. The armor he wore was old, missing it's whole left arm, revealing the man's arm, and equipped with a shoulder canon, much like Doom Guy's.
???- "Welcome travelers, I insist you leave."
Jack- "We're looking for someone."
Lena- "A young girl, about eighteen years old, wearing green armor."
???- "You mean the young (Y/n) Taggart, who wears armor of human origin, but of my design."
Jack- "What do you mean?"
???- "I made the Praetor suit for the Slayer. Unbreakable armor, worthy of a warrior such as him."
Lena- "Who are you!?"
Betrayer- "My name is Valen, but I have abandoned that name. I am now known as the Betrayer."
The Betrayer eyed the group, pondering why they came to him.
Betrayer- "Why have you come to me?"
Lena- "We found tracks that led here. Has (Y/n) come here at all?"
Betrayer- "Yes, she told me that one day you may come see me, stating you are searching for her. She visits often, and is quite kind to me."
Jack- "Which way did she go?"
Betrayer- "She leaves for the destroyed Sentinel command center in the north."
Lena- "Thank you! Lets get going, not a minute to waste!"
Lena runs back outside, filled with excitement.
Betrayer- "She is quite energetic."
Jack- "You have no idea."
Jack and Felixis run out after Lena, following her northward to find a train of carnage, leading to the massive building. There were Demon corpses everywhere, some burn, some frozen. Some cut into bits, others pack full of bullet holes. There was the sound of Demonic screeching, but it sounded in agony. The three charged towards the sound to find a you with your doom blade impaled through an Imp. You heard footsteps and quickly turned around to see Lena, Jack, and Felixis.
(Y/n)- "Mom?"
