Elijah packed the last of his things into the trunk of his fathers white Toyota tundra. Him and his father were moving far away from the home that Elijah was raised in so his father could find work out in the city. He looked back at his childhood home. Elijah had lots of good memories and bad memories, he lost his mother in this home, but he had so many good times that he'll never forget it. He made so many friends, had the best birthday party's, and had his first love, Damian.
Damian was always there for Elijah, in the toughest times Elijah would run into Damo's arms and cry out his pain. Elijah had never felt so happy with Damian, he felt cherished, accepted, and loved. Now Elijah was leaving Damian behind, and he felt guilty. He longed to stay with Damo, he needed Damo. He couldn't see a life without him.
As he packed his stuff he saw a little gift fall out of his backpack, into a muddy puddle.
"Ah shit" he tried bending over to grab the tiny little package only to have his backpack swing over and land in the water as well.
"sigh- Just my luck I guess"
"Elijah hurry up we gotta bring in the keys by 1:30!" Adrien called over to Eli. Adrien is Elijah's father.
Adrien is a thin man, with blond curly hair, blue eyes, glasses, and usually wears the same button up shirt. He was a fairly strong man when he was younger, but when his beloved wife passed he grieved, and gave up on the dreams he had. Now he just takes up his time working all day, and drinking all night.
"Dad can I say bye to some people first" the first thought in his mind was giving Damo a final kiss and goodbye, but his father had other plans.
" no El, listen we need to get on the road by three pm. or we'll miss the plane"
"Dad please its just one person I promise..."
"I'm sorry son, but we gotta go."
With a sad sigh, Elijah grabbed his backpack, and got in the car.
