Chapter 2: Facing Adrien

"Marinette you're going to be late!"

"Ugh... what time is it?"

"7:30?!"

"Crap!"

Marinette got up, she decided to wear something new today... she wore a light green shirt and black pants with green. Paw prints on the sides. And wore her hair down today. She got her stuff ready and went to the kitchen to greet her parents and leave. There was a lunch sack provided for her and saw a note.

Marinette your papa and I went off to London for a few weeks... please take care of the bakery while we're gone. Lock the doors around 7:00. We love you!

"Mari? Are you okay?" Ask Tikki with a worried look in her eyes. Mari gave her a fake smile. All her emotions were back again for Adrien... she was still hurting. On her way to school she saw Adrien and Nino Talking.. she hugged Alya.

"So gurl? How did it go?"

"He-he.... rejected me gently, he-he said he l-likes s-someone e-else...." then, she started crying again.

"Oh Mari I'm so sorry..." She hugged her best friend. While Nino and Adrien were walking the same way as the girls.

"Hey Alya, Hey Mari" said Nino.

"Hey Nino" Said both the girls, giving fake smiles.

"Hey Alya, Hey.... Marinette" said Adrien as he smiled and waved at the girls.

"Hey Adri-......." She was interrupted

"I have to go! See ya Alya!" Mari fake smiled and left and ran in a "flash" to the girls restroom wipe off and clean her puffy face.

"Woh...dude what's wrong with Mari, she literally just left without saying hi to you" said Nino talking to Adrien.

"I know" Adrien frowned. He was worried about Mari. He went to visit her after school to check up on her and see why she was behaving like this. She ignored him all day she even went to go have lunch with Rose and Juluka  instead. And it continued going on for weeks...

One day Adrien got home and was still very worried about Marinette. His little friend Plagg wanted to know why Adrien was sad all the time

"Kid.... what's wrong?"

"I don't know Plagg.... It's Marinette she's been acting like this for weeks.."

"Maybe you should go talk to her"

"No she's been running away from me and ignoring my cry to her all the time..... it's probably not a good idea..."

"That's not what I meant kid....why not you talk to her as Chat Noir instead"

"Huh?.... I never tried that and she's only avoiding me.. Adrien.... Good idea Plagg!"

"Thank you I'm always good at advise!" He said as he nibbles his cheese.

Then there was a moment of silence for Plagg to realize what Adrien was going to do.

Adrien smirked at Plagg while he was eating his Camembert.

"PLAGG CLAWS OUT!!"

"NO I DIDN'T MEAN RIGHT NOWWWW-...."

Plagg yell as he was sucked up in the ring. Chat Noir went to house to house until he was able to make it to. Marinette's place. He saw her staring at the Stars. While many quite small tears ran down her face. She sadly sighs. The Cat was hiding behind her balcony he wanted to surprise her/scare her.

"BOO!" he screamed.

"AHHH" the bluenette jumped. Then turned around to face the Ally Cat.

"Ch-chat?" She said as her face was drenched in tears.

"Heh..hey princesses!" He said nervously.
*In Chat's thoughts* "Crap!"

*Mari's thoughts* "what does that cat want?"

She shook her head and gave a fake smile, as she was heading to her room.

"Hey Chat Noir! What brings you here?!"

"Please don't think I'm dumb, I know that something is wrong princess"

"Chat I'm fine.."

"No you're not you're crying!" He said softly.

"Chat?"

"Tell me what's wrong!"

"I'm just..... hurting that's all"

Then kissed her again, she did the same. Their love and appreciation grew, more and more. Although Chat still loves Ladybug, he was still getting tired of the many rejections of her. So, I he tried something new, someone else. And realized all along the he... Adrien and as Chat Noir. Loves Mari. Mari's appreciation grew more and more. Until they knew it he had to go. But, he didn't want to leave the still heartbroken princess. He saw her sleeping. Staring at her he smiled along blushing bright red. He was on his way to the window. Till a hand pulled him. He was forwarded to sleep with Mari. But, in a good way, for their love grew and grew. So, he stayed. It was not long then Chat Noir was asleep cuddling with Marinette. He De-transformed. Plagg went to be with Tikki. And cuddled with her as well. And so the two young lovebirds. Fell asleep.
