Next week-Dynamite
Kris was warming up backstage as she had a fatal 4 way match against Penelope Ford,Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida. While warming up John walked up to her
John: Kristen
Kris: Whats up JD?
John: I was coming up to you to wish you good luck tonight
Kris: Thanks. I appreciate that
John: No problem and I will be rooting for you
John hugged Kris making her blush as Britt and Hikaru watched with a smile. John walked off leaving a blushing Kris
Britt: You are in love Kris
Hikaru: She definitely is in love
Kris: Oh my gosh....Hikaru I didn't think you would join in with Britt
Hikaru: She told me last week that you were so fixated on John
Kris: I was not
Britt: John told me that you are very good looking
Kris: Your such a bad lier
Britt: Ok that was a lie but he could have possibly think you are
Kris: I'm probably the last person he liked
Britt: Just admit you like him
Kris: I don't
Hikaru: Oh what happened last week in the hotel
Kris: Nothing weird. The only weird thing was my dream
Britt: What was it about
Kris thought of a lie because she didn't want them to know that she was thinking about John in her dream
Kris: It was something stupid so it wouldn't really matter
A producer came up to them
Producer: Ladies your up next
Kris: Yes! See you guys at gorilla
The producer and Kris walked off
Britt: She totally loves John
Hikaru: Yep
Hikaru and Britt followed behind Kris to gorilla.
Fast Forward
During the fatal 4 way match John was backstage watching the match with Trent and Chuck
John: Kris is doing great
Chuck: Yeah she is
Trent: John...Britt told me that Kris has a crush on you
John: I highly doubt it
Chuck: Really? Come on John. Your a good looking man and Kris is totally crushing on you
John: Thanks but I don't think she likes me
Trent: Do you like her?
John: ....Yeah I do but don't you dare tell anyone
Chuck: Your secret is safe with us
Trent: It's safe to say that John is falling in love with a alien
They all laughed and continued watching the match
In the ring
Britt locked in the Lockjaw on Kris outside of the ring whilst Hikaru hit the running knee on Penelope picking up the win
Backstage
Kris walked backstage clutching her jaw when she encountered John
John: Kris you did amazing tonight and is your jaw okay?
Kris: Thanks and my jaw should be fine
John: Ok I'm up next so wish me luck
Kris hugged him before he walked off. Cody and Tony Khan walked up to Kris
Tony: Kris. We know you didn't win the fatal 4 way match tonight but we wanted to let you know that you are facing Britt next week
Cody: And the winner of that match will have a AEW women's championship match against either Nyla or Riho after Double or Nothing. We are booking you to win against Britt and become AEW women's champion against Nyla Rose after Double or Nothing
Kris: Oh my gosh! Thank you so much
Cody: No problem
Tony: Keep up the good work
Cody and Tony walked off while Kris silently celebrated. Kris went to take a shower before watching Johns match
In the ring
John was in the ring as he was facing MJF. The bell rang and John ran at Maxwell and hit a barrage of punches and kicks. Maxwell could not take the pressure causing Wardlow to distract the referee. MJF hit John with his ring when the ref was not looking but it was not enough to win the match. Blood started to seep from Johns head which made the crowd cringe
Meanwhile...
Kris was watching the match backstage and saw blood pouring from Johns head
Kris: Oh god. That's a lot of blood
Darby: He will be fine
Kris turned around to see one of Johns best friends Darby Allin
Darby: If your worrying about him trust me he has been through worse
Kris: I have known him for awhile and I didn't think he could take pain like that
Darby: Well now you know. Oh and by the way Priscilla told me that-
Kris: I know what she said and it's not true
Darby: But you guys genuinely care about each other. How can it not be true
Kris: Ok...I can trust you right?
Darby: Yes
Kris: Well since you have known John longer than I have...could you give me tips to win his heart?
Darby chuckled
Darby: I know you liked him and what your doing right now is working because he likes people that are nice,caring and kind
Kris: Ok thanks and don't you dare tell anyone about this
Darby: Too late
Priscilla and Britt walked around the corner in the hallway
Priscilla: I knew it!
Britt: You like him!
Kris: Ok ok keep it down and how did you find out
Priscilla: Darby decided to help us find out by looking for you during Johns match
Priscilla said before kissing Darby on the cheek
Kris: Ok and please just keep this a secret between us
Britt: Don't worry your secret is safe with us
Kris: I hope so
In the ring
John still had on a crimson mask but he keep on fighting. John nailed MJF with a huge boot to the face before he hit the reverse GTS for the win. It was a gutsy performance from John but he still pulled off the win
Backstage
John went to the trainers room and got stitches. Kris walked in the room and smiled at John
Kris: Nice win tonight. I hope you heal up soon
John: I will be fine trust me
Kris: I just wanted to check on you to make sure you didn't bleed out
John: *chuckles* I have lost way more blood than this and I appreciate that you care for me
The doctor finished the stitches and John got up from the chair
John: Thanks doc and I have to go shower now Kris. See you next week
John winked at Kris before he walked out of the trainers room. Kris was a blushing mess before she smiled and walked out the trainers room
