both lucy and natsu were very nervous for the date, they didn't know what to say, lucy had never been asked out and this was the first time natsu had asked anyone out at all

to him it was a surprise she even said yes, but even though both parties were nervous they both were also very excited, they didn't know why they felt this way about eachother

sure, sure igneel had talked told lucy about his hotheaded son, and how much he wanted lucy to be with natsu ,

and yeah natsu had heard about lucy before from erza, even before they met, when erza and juvia came back from their job request they didn't stop talking about the pretty blonde mage they had met

lucy didn't know how to react when she started blushing and getting butterflies around the pink haired boy, and natsu didn't know how to react when he felt his dragon senses being drawn to the celestial mage

but neither of the hated the feeling, in fact, they liked it, sure they were scared but who wouldn't be, it was a new feeling

but still, lucy kept her guard up, she didn't want to be left again, she didn't wanna fall in love with the pink haired boy and then come to realize he was in love with someone else

lucy walked out of the bathroom and saw natsu putting on his scarf, she felt the heat rise to her cheeks as she saw how handsome the boy looked

natsu heard the bathroom door open and looked up while putting on his scarf, he felt his heart beat faster, in his eyes, she was the prettiest girl on the planet, she still smelled of strawberries and vanilla to him, but then a new aroma was mixed,

the aroma was perfume lucy had put on, it smelled of flowers, and an undertone of stardust,

"whoa.. you look, stunning.." natsu had commented making the blonde smile, she walked up to him and looked up at him, before fixing his scarf which had been knotted by the boy

he looked down at delicate hands as they worked their way around his neck and fixed the scarf,

the boy couldn't take it, she was his dream, even if they hadn't known eachother for long, he felt himself slowly falling in love with the blonde he had met a couple days ago..

everything about lucy made natsu go crazy, her smell, her movements, her magic, her aura, and everything about natsu made lucy a nervous wreck

she was new to these feelings and she didn't know how to react to them, she finished unknotting the scarf and handed it back to natsu,

natsu then smiled and grabbed it from her and kissed her cheek before whispering in her ear

"thanks lucy, i guess my hands just did whatever when i saw you come out looking so nice" she felt her cheeks heat up more than they did when she saw him

natsu let out a low chuckle before grabbing her hand and leading her outside to where lights covered the streets and people walked around,

lucy stared in awe at the festival.. she had never been to one with another boy, or without gray and jellal for that matter,

natsu watched the girls face light up at the sight of the city full of life, he smiled and then realized they had been holding hands, which neither of them minded,
