The sky was clear as the sun began to set, erupting the horizon into beautiful colors as the stars started to twinkle above.
"Wow," Jack exhaled as he clutched onto the railing, "Such an unbelievable view.""Not nearly as unbelievable as mine," the voice from behind interjected.
Jack turned to see Legosi walk up beside him, and he smirked as he looked back out towards the sunset.
"I can't believe... this is actually happening," Jack blushed as he turned to meet Legosi's gaze."I couldn't either... until now," Legosi said as he put his hand on Jack's shoulder.
Jack attempted to say something, but he fell silent as he looked at Legosi's eyes which reflected the sunset. Legosi chuckled as he scratched behind one of Jack's ears, letting his tail wag in response. Jack pulled the wolf against him in a tight embrace, slightly tearing up. Legosi took Jack's chin in his hand, raising his face up towards his and leaned forward. Jack closed his eyes and...
"JACK!" a familiar obnoxious, yet endearing voice rang out.
Jack jolted awake, banging his head on the top of his sleeping cubby.
"Ow! What the hell, Collot?" Jack yelled as he rubbed his head."Geez... You know that you need to get up for breakfast and, if you don't, I have to get you up," Collot replied, snickering under his breath.
"You know I hate how you wake me up, it always ends like this," Jack sighed as he pulled himself out from his space, looking around the canine room. "Where's Legosi?" he asked.
"Legosi?" Miguno piped in, "I think he went into some early drama club tech meeting."
"Tech meeting? I thought he said he was going on an early morning run!" Durham interjected.
"I'm hungry!" Voss quipped.
"Come on, guys. Let's just get ready to go," Collot said to Durham and Miguno, as they rolled their eyes.
"I'll just have to talk to him later, then," Jack muttered, looking over at Legosi's bed.
Jack felt he could tell Legosi just about anything at this point, but he truly didn't know if he could be honest about what he saw in his dream that night. It's true that the two of them have been the closest of friends for many years, but was that all he wanted? Did he want more? His feelings and thoughts were complicated, and he didn't know how to deal with it. It wasn't like there was anyone he could really talk to about these truly confusing feelings. It was expected of him to find another canine female to marry and create a family with, not a... male wolf? That's a crazy thought. Talking to Legosi seemed like a good first step, but that would have to wait.

"So..." Collot turned to Jack in the line, "Why did you want to talk to Legosi?"
Jack looked down at his empty tray, thinking of the best excuse to give.
"There was just... something I wasn't understanding in... class the other day and I thought he could help me before I went to it today," he replied."What class?" Collot asked.
"Sath..."
Jack's mind was going close to the speed of light. Everything was jumbled in his thought process, jumbled enough to combine both science and math into one word.
