Chapter 1

It's the first day back after winter break. Sharpay and Ryan were walking in the hallways talking about the school musical. Ryan went to class and Sharpay went to her locker to get her text book for Math class. She closed her locker and headed to class as she was walking to her class she bumped into someone Troy Bolton.
" I'm so sorry Sharpay" Troy said while helping her up.
Sharpay glared at Troy, " Watch where your going Bolton." Troy was about to say something but Sharpay turned around and left to class. Troy watched her leave and he went to class. It was 6th period and Troy had Ms. Darbus. He was waiting for his basketball team when he saw Sharpay at her locker and he walked up to her.
" hey Sharpay " Troy said with a smile on his face.
Sharpay turned around and gave him a little smile, " Hi Troy ."
"How was your break" Troy asked Sharpay with a smile on his face.
"It was good I went to New York. What did you do?"
" oh you know... played basketball..snowboarding..more basketball"
" That sounds like fun but you forgot something "  Sharpay looked at Troy with a disappointment face.
Troy look at her with a confused face.
" Aiden was supposed to be with you during break"
Troy wide his eye and ran his hand through his hair nervously. "Oh, shit. Sharpay I-I'm sorry. I forgot all about it. I'm really sorry."
" Look, Troy" Sharpay crossed her arms on her chest.   "You're the one who said you wanted to be in his life. Remember Troy Aiden's your son too." She took a deep breath and walked away. Troy stood alone in the hallway with a sad face. He went the same way Sharpay went since he has 6th period with her. He walked in and everyone stared at him."Glad you can join us Mr.Bolton." He sat next to Sharpay and he looked at her trying to get her attention but it didn't work. A few seconds later a new girl walked in. " uhh you must be Miss Gabriella Montez welcome to East high" The girl smile and took a sit in the back.  Class was over and Troy decided to wait for the new girl. " See you at practice" Chad told Troy and left. The new girl walked out of class and started to leave school. "Hey I'm Troy Bolton nice to meet you" Troy shook her hand. " Hi I'm Gabriella Montez it's nice to meet you too" She smiles at him. " So how you like East high" Troy asked her while walking with her. " oh uh it's a really nice school" she couldn't stop smiling at Troy. " Yea it is, umm I have to go but I'll see you tomorrow." They said bye to each other and they both went there separate ways.
( Basketball practice )
" So Troy I saw you talking to the new girl" Chad looked a Troy. Troy was shooting the basketball, "yea she's really nice"  Troy stopped shooting the ball and looked at Chad.
"I talked to Sharpay today and I screwed up with Sharpay" Troy said anxiously.
" what did you do to the ice princess" Chad said while stretching.
" I promise Sharpay I was taking Aiden with me during break and I forgot all about it"
" I don't know what to tell you" Chad took the ball from Troy and was shooting the ball.
Troy took the ball from Chad " I'm serious Chad, what should I do, I haven't seen my son in a month"
" Well talk to Sharpay and tell her you want to spend time with your son" Chad said and took the ball from Troy.
