Kenzie was six years old,and she was auditioning to be on dance moms.She had never got that nervous for anything dance related before,but this was to been on national television.Kenzie knew that she had a small chance of getting it,but she still practiced every night.Telling herself she was perfect was something she would always do,because she was perfect.
The day of the auditions,Kenzie and her mom Melissa walked in and were met with Abby lee miller.Abby greeted them,and gave Kenzie her audition number.As Abby made the girls do all types of dance,Kenzie was living the life.That was until she had to do improv in front of everyone,and she felt so nervous. Stepping up,Kenzie danced to the music,and Abby watched in shock. She knew that Kenz would be a star.
The girls waited while Abby made her final decisions.Finally,Abby told them all to stand In a shoulder to shoulder line.They did as she had told them to.Abby listed off names to who was going home until she had 12 dancers left.Kenzie's breathing was hitching by the second."Chloe,step forward" Abby said,"you are staying"."Paige,step forward,you are staying."Brooke,step forward,you are staying"."and the last person who will be staying is....".Kenzie sighed knowing it probably won't be her."Mackenzie" Abby said smiling.Kenzie got so happy and showed it with a huge smile.
She was about to be on national television,doing her favorite thing.Kenzie couldn't believe she had been chosen,it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.Later that night,she did her hair and posted an instagram picture off her moms phone to her account
