Flowers have a great smell. Sometimes, they can cause you to itch or they have thorns that could hurt you. That is friendship. You get hurt sometimes, but you always end up having that sweet smell in your nose.
I never knew the true meaning of friendship until 2 years ago when I was introduced to new people that I couldn't deal with. I was never myself around them. That same year I saw who was the person who always stood next to me, my mother.
There is also a new girl in our class that I love. When she has a problem, I keep suggesting any possible solutions and help. It is not from kindness, but I really want to help her. That is the true meaning of friendship. Yes, I may think that this girl is a true friend and things change when we grow up, but I will enjoy every moment of it.
Our teacher was telling us about the meaning of friendship. I didn't quiet understand him because I, and , and many others, haven't found that person yet.
So yes, a true friend is the person who thinks of you all the time. He is the person who loves you and would sacrifice his life for you.
