Melissa's P.O.V.

Everything happened so fast. I can't even decide if I should take the right or the left. My mom and my dad just had a big fight, and I run away, like I always did. But they aren't coming to rescue me. Not anymore. Because I'll not let them.

I'm Melissa Parks, daughter of John and Tayla Parks, and the little sis from Andrew Parks.I got the good looks from my father and the body of my mother. I'm not short but I'm not so tall either, my hair is dirty blonde long (at the waist) and smooth and I had blue eyes, and my brother is the opposite. He has dark brown hair (like my mom) and blue eyes like me.

We're not a simple family. Not when your brother is the big captain of the football team, your mother is the best lawyer in the city, and your dad is the principal of the school where you go. The Park's are quite a rich family, but we don't brag yourselves. But that's not important right now. I'm focusing on where I should go to. I have to run away. I bet you're wondering: "Why? You should have a nice life." But that's the point you're wrong.

Last summer I was with Olivia and Kayla, my best friends since ever. Olivia Benedict is that girl that is shy, and quiet. But once you're friend of her, she's the craziest person you've ever seen, and also the most dirty mind girl in the world. She always has jokes, so is quite funny. And she is the person you could call at 3am and talk to her about your problems for 2 hours, and she won't hang up the phone. Kayla Cerak is that person that is always happy. It's raining? Happy. Is something on fire? Happy. Is someone hurt? Happy. No matter what, she's happy. And this is cool, because she always can cheer me up. Also she's the most stubborn girl ever born, and this makes her have fights with everyone, even if is about puppies. The cool is that she is most of the times is right, so I and Olivia like watch her fight with someone, because is hilarious. So, going back to explaining. Last summer I was with Olivia and Kayla on the beach, like we always do when we're on vacation. We were talking about school, boys, girl's stuff. When he showed up.

Blake Johnson, also know as the player, was in front of us, with he's two right shoulders: Derek Pearce and Jacob Emerson. Blake is my brother's enemy, so we don't like each other. But Blake is always pissing me of, because for him 'is cool'.

"So, the bitches are doing what? "Said Derek, looking at Kayla with his almost black eyes.

"Something you never had listened about. 'S-U-N-B-A-T-H-I-N-G'. " Kayla replied, with her kindness always appearing. Oh God, she doesn't know when she have to shut up, does she?

"And I think you never had listening about bikini's, because this is not what you're wearing" replied back Blake, eyeing at us three from head to toe, looking disgusted. That son of a bitch! No one, I mean NO ONE talks with my girls like that!

"Back off Johnson. You don't know whit who you're talking." I spoke for the first time, getting up from the sand. Olivia did the same, but K seemed frozen on the place.

"Ohhh! The cow has a thong! Did you see that Derek?" talked Jacob in false surprise. Blake looked at me with his hazel eyes, and walked close to me. He lowered down to my ear and whispered 'Don't even try to make me angry. You would not want your big brother secret out, do you?' I stared at him with a blank look, knowing of what he is talking about.

I walked away from him, and grabbed the girls by theirs wrist, pulling them with me to the car. Nobody spoke and I was grateful for that for the first time in my life.

That made me who I am right now. The girl running away. From her life, from her problems. From him. And the worst? He knows about it.
