You walked down the hallway, about to enter the kitchen to get some breakfast, you noticed Natasha and Tony standing in the room you were about to enter, their backs turned to you. You stopped in the doorway of the kitchen, about to greet them both. You opened your mouth but immediately stopped from hearing what they were saying

"He needs to go back to Asgard Nat, me and you both know he's no good for Y/N. She's been sneaking off somewhere every night, and my guess would be she's seeing reindeer games." Tony said in a hushed voice

"I very much doubt that Tony, Y/N not stupid enough to fall for him, she know that he's full of lies." Nat replied, her words angered you, Loki was most definitely not lying to you, and he definitely was not using you.

"She was giving him books, he has to go. I'm not having him hurt her." Tony whispered, a desperate tone to his voice

"Look I hate the son of a bitch, but you and me both know the only reason he's here is because Asgard won't take him back, Odin has refused to. Tony I know you care about Y/N, and I do too, but she can handle herself." Nat reassured Tony

"So where's she sneaking off to at night Nat? I've seen him too sometimes, I'm telling you there sleeping together, perhaps even - you know." Tony shifted slightly as if emphasising something to Nat, your face heated up at the idea of doing such a thing with Loki, although you wouldn't complain if the situation ever presented itself

" Tony, Jesus. Even if Y/N is doing that it's none of you business, look I know Y/N, she'd never fall for that monster." Nat spoke confidently, clearly she did not know you as well as she thought, you frowned at her words, Loki was not a monster, that was something you knew for sure. You walked into the room, pretending you didn't hear anything, both Tony and Nat whipped their heads around to see you, both smiling as if they weren't just insulting Loki

"Hey guys." you said, a fake smile finding your lips, Nat nodded in reply, before just walking out the room

"Morning Y/N, don't mind Nat she's -" you cut Tony off with a chuckle

"Got better things to do then stand next to you all day." you joked, Tony placed a hand over his heart

"Ouch." he said, a smirk finding his lips, then instantly vanishing again, you raised an eyebrow in confusion but said nothing
"Y/N?" Tony asked hesitantly, you turned around, so you were now facing him

"Yes Tony?" you said, your eyebrow still raised in a questioning manner

"You and Loki, you aren't, I dunno - together?" he asked waving his hands in the air, you could feel your cheeks heat up, you were about to reply when you felt another presence behind you, turning around you were faced with Loki, he looked at Stark then back to you in a questioning manner, saying nothing he walked over to the cupboard, browsing through the food, Tony cleared his throat, earning your attention, whereas Loki took no notice

"Well I'll be in the lab, Y/N you should drop by sometime, I'd enjoy the company." he said, sending a wink your way, you sorted back, looking over at Loki to see him sending Tony a deathly glare, Tony shrugged
"Can't blame a guy for trying." and with that he was gone leaving no time for you to reply, you looked over to Loki and chuckled at the expression on his face, he looked over at you, frowning slightly

"What?" he asked, a little snappily

"Just you, getting all jealous and overprotective." you laughed, you felt him move over to you, his hands resting on your hips

"Well you are my queen." he whispered, leaving a tingling sensation near your ear, you smirked at his words wrapping your arms around his neck

"That I am." you replied, a true smile forming at your lips, Loki couldn't contain himself any further, crashing his lips against yours, immediately you were seeing stars, his lips were soft but slightly cold against yours, you felt your back hit the counter, about to deepen the kiss, you were interrupted by someone's voice
