What a long month this has been
A crisis like this,the world has never seen
What started off as an excuse to miss school and college
Has now taken over the world like a seige
Lazy mornings,long days seemingly impossible
The valour of the white warriors out there just beyond incomprehensible
These angels dressed in white have a family to go back to
"Is she coming back today?"the family thought,well what else would you do
It's been a whirlwind of emotions since then
Fear has taken over even young men
And why wouldn't it,when else would we see the city of dreams actually sleeping
With families of all lost ones weeping
Some say it'll never be the same,some say it's a blessing in disguise
Why wouldn't they,a clean pollution-free world,can we even believe our eyes
Two of bollywood's greatest lost and we can't believe they're no more
But "I suppose in the end the whole of life becomes an act of letting go."
When this virus is long gone, we'll wake up to a new world
Realising it's the little things that matter
with lines of religion,caste and class blurred
