It was just a regular morning, I was meeting with my friends for some coffee, although I was actually having coffee alone cause they never show up, but nevertheless, it was kinda great.

I walked down the streets past the subway station and made my way to my regular coffee shop, Tae and Kookies, the owner had originally wanted to call it Tea and Cookies but just as he was deciding on a name for the registration, his daughter had gotten into kpop. So he basically didn't have a choice.

The bell rang as I walked in, instantly greeted by friendly smiles of all the customers, it was a small town so even if we didn't know everyone personally, we all decided it would be best to stay friendly. "Hi" I smiled and waved at the part timer, his name was Alex and he was super cute, not gonna lie I kinda liked him but oh well he had a boyfriend so...

I ordered my coffee and sat down at a bay window table, the bell rang once more as a family walked in, I smiled at them out if habit but quickly looked away when I saw who it was, blushing. It was the owner, his son and his daughter. It's not like I liked the owner, not was I scared, but the last time they had come I had also been here, and embarrassed myself deeply. I won't go into detail😔.

The owner noticed and came beside me, sitting in the chair opposite, with his children beside. "I'm glad you came back Y/n, I was worried you would be too embarrassed to return."

I smiled cowardly and with pink cheeks replied, "oh no I couldn't stop coming here the coffee is too good."

The owner chuckled and smiled, ruffling my hair, "I'm glad you think so, and since you're here, meet my son and my daughter." He pulled them in front of me and they both smiled brightly, "this is my daughter Olivia, and my son, Felix."

I smiled and shook their hands, "Nice to meet you."

"You know, Felix is around your age, your 20 right? Felix is 22. And single... I think you two should go on a date, you seen like you would work well together. You're single right? Wait of course you are! Oh wait- sorry that wasn't supposed to be offensive, I just meant-"

I cut him off by laughing, "Don't worry I'm not offended, boys just don't know what they're missing" *hair flip*

Felix chuckled at that, his eyes curving and face bright. He was not so much attractive, but you did think he was quite adorable. He noticed you looking and quickly looked away, cheeks rosy.

"So what do you say? Will you go out with him? If you say no I might just have to ban you from the cafe!" The owner said jokingly.

I looked back at him and hesitantly nodded my head, although I didn't particularly want to go and would be missing out on my doing nothing time, I really really liked this café's coffee and if I lost it I would be lost.

He grinned widely and and put his palms down on the table. "Great, it's a date, I'll send Felix your number, tell me if he ghosts you, I'll smack him right back, so don't worry about him getting away!"

I chuckled and finished my coffee, checking the time and realising I had to get going in order to not miss my class. "I'm sorry I really have to go but have a good day and your coffee is still really amazing!" With that I rushed off, in college I was studying English, my plan was to go to teach English in foreign countries, then come back and become a successful writer/English professor.
