He was running again, in those endless stairs with fire and blood surrounding him. His heart was beating faster than expected to be running, and his mind filled with just one thought: "Please be safe". His eyes full of despair, trying to run even faster it was, drawing his sword in the process, seeing corpses and more blood the closer he got to the place that was their base.

Once he reached the top of the stairs, at the entrance of the base, he saw the room that used to be the infirmary open, the door splintered and broken. With tremblings steps, wishing with all his heart a miracle, he enter the room to see her clothes bathed in blood, and some corpses of fallen comrades. Unable to believe it, he takes her clothes and hughs them while a silent tear fall in his cheek, a scream of agony crying out.

Gintoki woke up with a scream stuck in his throat, squeezing the blanket that covered him. It was that dream again, over and over repeating in his mind, the fateful day when he lost everything he loved. Lazily he runs his fingers through his air and face, wiping the sweat off his forehead.

-Is that day again, isn't it? Because of that you come into my dreams, (Y/N)- He says with a voice deep, full of sadness.

He saw the clock. 7 o'clock. It was too early to wake up, also was not in the mood for. Lying down again, he closed his eyes, wishing that the nightmare doesn't return to his dreams, knowing deep inside him that couldn't sleep anymore.

Always this dream reminded him her (E/C) eyes, (H/C) soft hair, and her kind smile, returning all the moments they shared, like the nights when they were kids and sneak off to see the stars on the ceiling without Shouyo noticed them, or her great smile at the fights he used to have with the others three mens. All these memories brought pain and sorrow to him, thinking that she wouldn't want that, so he decided to get up and make some breakfast. After all, Kagura would wake up soon, hungry and too loose to prepare her own food.

But first, he would take a drink of strawberry milk to calm his mind. With that on mind, he opened the fridge just to find and empty milk box.

-This damn Shinpachi forgot buying my strawberry milk- He murmured for himself angrily as he walked to the door, planning to go get some milk.

With a yawn, he headed for the store, putting an arm inside of his yukata as he always does. Still yawning, went down the stairs, thinking that it wouldn't be a bad idea to go see her after so many years. After all, he supposed that this was the reason why she came to scare him in his sleep.

With his mind still lost in his thoughts, he doesn't see the woman standing in front of the bar, passing from her.

-Gintoki!- She calls him behind his back.

He turns his head slightly at the sound, with his usually dead fish eyes looking bored now getting biggers at the familiar voice. And there she was, (L/N) (F/N), standing right in front of him, with her usual face of happiness. He would be overflowing with happiness if she wasn't dead since the end of the war, assuming what he were seeing was a ghost.

-(Y-Y-Y/N)-chan... ¡I'm so sorry for not going to see you all this time!- He shout scared- I dont like graveyards and all those things, also I don't know what flowers you like- He said as he bowed before her.

-Gin... what the hell are you saying?- she answered him with a sigh.

-You're a ghost of my dear friend (Y/n), who died in the Joui war and haunts me for not going to see her in the aniversary of her death- He says pointing her with his index.
