Eri arrived at school earlier than usual so she stayed in her empty classroom. Mostly to avoid seeing some club members after what happened yesterday.
She felt pretty positive today especially after the talk with her parents. She was thinking if she will open up the problems to Jun and Keonhee. She's been hiding this for like over a month and with the event last evening...
No doubt Keonhee will tell that to Jun and both of them will interrogate her. No escape, better embrace it.
"Okay enough thinking, better start studying" she opened her bag and searched for the book. It was nowhere to be found.
Where did she put it? Did she left it at home but she didn't touch her bag or whatsoever. Wait-
"Excuse me, Eri" a familiar voice called, she looked to where the source of the voice.
It was Xion, standing at the her class door.
"Yes?" she perked up, Xion walked to her. He held out a revision book, her revision book.
"My book! I was scared where it went.. Thanks! Where did you even found it?" She happily grabbed the book and put it at the side.
"You left it in the hall yesterday" He answered.
At first, Keonhee wanted to send the book back to her but he suddenly passed it to him. Xion questioned but Keonhee answered him with "please" so Xion accepted in the end.
"Oh.." She must have accidentally left the book there when she was rushing to get away from Yoora.
Xion cleared his throat "Can I ask.. What happened yesterday?".
Eri wanted to tell xion from the day Yoora threatened her but she's kinda scared that Xion won't believe her. Maybe tell him a little, spare the details.
"Got into an argument.." she traced her finger on the book, avoiding his eyes.
"With Yoora?" Xion continued her sentence, curious.
"Yea.. How did you know?" Eri was surprised for a second and thought, does Xion know the whole thing?
"I only suspected it, I didn't know it was true" he laughed bitterly. Should he push her to talk about the whole argument? But looking at Eri's face, he assumed she was getting uncomfortable with the topic.
"I guess that's all.. I better head back to my own class" He said and was about to walk away.
In a second, Eri stood up and grabbed his hand "W-wait!".
They both gaze at each other, the sudden contact made a flush of embarrassment rose to their cheeks.
God, what was she doing?! What was she supposed to say?! She panicked by her sudden action, she isn't ready for this!
Xion giggled and put his other hand on her head. "You don't have to tell me right now.. Tell me when you're ready".
She let go of his hand and her heart skipped a beat when he said those words "Y-yea, thanks for understanding".
Both of them bid farewell and Eri sat back down, her heart still beating fast after the interaction.
"Calm down heart.." she groaned at the thought.
Soon, her class started to fill up and Jun arrived. "Goodmorning, Eri.. We have important matter to discuss later" Jun said with her sinister smile.
Eri gulped and nodded, she already knew where this was going.
When Jun got the text message from Keonhee yesterday, she ain't letting Eri go this time. This have to settle.
...
"Okay, spit it out" Jun crossed her arms. Her and Keonhee were both serious, they need to know what's going on with Eri lately.
It was recess and they sat at their usual table in the cafeteria. Both of them sat across Eri. Eri sighed and looked at the both of them, she laughed nervously.
She's not used with both of her friends acting like this. She took a glance at their food and knew, they won't start eating until she told them.
"Fine, So.. It began-" She started her story from A to Z. From Yoora's threat until yesterday.. Even including the story where juice splattered on her shoes, she lied that she accidentally spill it but it was Yoora all along.
After their story time, Jun and Keonhee were both furious. "That bish... And you never even want to tell us?!" Jun raised her voice a bit, trying hard not to gain attention.
"I did have the intention to tell! But I was scared of Yoora at first and I didn't want to put more burden on you guys" Eri replied, her head hung low.
"Eri.. What Yoora did was too far, you know that and you could tell us anything. This is not okay, you don't need to hide it from us" Keonhee sighed, a bit dissapointed by Eri's action.
"I know.. And I'm sorry" Her voice cracked. "You guys have so much more problems and I didn't want to, yknow..".
Jun calmed down a bit and said "My lord, Eri.. Even though we have our own problems but this is something you shouldn't keep it a secret".
Keonhee continued "You know we will be there for you" he pulled a faint smile.
"Yes, I know.. I'll make sure I wont keep a secret like this from you guys" Eri grabbed her fork and fiddled with it.
Jun and Keonhee looked at each other and back to her.
"Also, Yoora's doing this just for Xion? Hah! Like Xion will like her" Jun cackled to lighten up the atmosphere.
"I agree!" Keonhee exclaimed.
Eri felt relieved with mood getting lighter and she laughed along with them.
"We're proud of you Eri, you really stood up to her. Not many people can do that.. Sure you don't want to tell the teacher or want Jun do anything to her" Keonhee asked while Jun cracked her knuckles.
"Telling the teachers? I bet they won't do anything, no offence. Also, I don't want you guys to be in trouble.. Better I take this matter into my own hands" Eri reassured them and stabbed her food.
She doesn't want to engage with Yoora in any way but if Yoora wants to, she's ready for it. She won't back down.
...
On the way back to class after recess,
"Really?! Tell me afterschool, when we're on the way to the club".
