Hey everyone, so this is a story about birthstones turned people. Each birthstone is represented by a person, a queen actually, and I know that some months have more than one birthstone so I'll list the ones I'm using here. And I'll go over some other stuff to make it easier for you guys to understand my whole thought process. If you want to get straight to the story just skip this part!
January: Garnet
February: Amethyst
March: Aquamarine
April: Diamond
May: Emerald
June: Pearl
July: Ruby
August: Peridot
September: Sapphire
October: Opal
November: Citrine
December: Tanzanite
So to determine which queens are more powerful than others I decided to use the Mohs Hardness scale, with diamond being the hardest mineral with a score of 10. Pearl is the least powerful with a score of 2.5 So a lot of birthstones are equal in hardness, so I just chose those ones randomly. I'll list them in order from most powerful to least.

Sapphire
Ruby
Aquamarine
Emerald
Garnet
Tanzanite
Citrine
Amethyst
Peridot
Opal
Pearl
And for their personalities I just made them up and didn't use zodiacs or anything else like that.
For magic I used the spiritual meanings of each birthstone. But, a lot of them are the same things or not very useful for magic, so some of them are kind of a stretch. I'll list those too.
Garnet: Doubt Control
Amethyst: Mind Control
Aquamarine: Water Control
Diamond: Health Control
Emerald: Plant Control
Pearl: Metaphysical
Ruby: Age Control
Peridot: Growth Control
Sapphire: Loyalty Control
Opal: Confidence Control
Citrine: Success Control
Tanzanite: Truth Control
