FOR MANY CENTURIES, witches have been around, passing down their knowledge and skills through generations of family line.
Among said witches, there are populations each witch from a different field of magic ancestral, connective, traditional, hoodoo, voodoo and so on and so forth, and with each group of witch it is their job to keep the balance in the world and be a servant of nature and protect humans for those wicked forces who chose to do them harm, much to the want of other supernatural's such as vampires and werewolves.
But it has been what is always has: Witches remained superior.
Though to popular belief witches don't receive their powers from demons, nor do they worship the Devil, well expect those who did.
Satanic Witches. Witches who turned to the forces of evil and received their powers from the Devil. Because yes he does exist. The faces of them underneath ghoulish.
The first satanic witch to ever exist was Lilith, under the service of Lucifer, turning to dark arts to gain more power, pledging her allegiance to them, becoming their handmaiden and calling herself Madame Satan in their honor and from her satanic witches grew.
Years later many other founders of Lilith's power accessed, growing rapid in numbers to hundreds to thousands. One of the most notable covens being The Sisters of Darkness, a coven that had been around since the Salem Witch Trails.
And apart of that coven was Ivy Arriens. Ivy was born in Massachusetts, in a small quiet village where life was peaceful, and she was born to her mother Abigail Arriens, and her late father Edward Carlton. Her mother had fallen in love with her father after days of just meeting and soon Ivy was convinced under The Red Moon of 1672.
Since the day of her birth, Ivy had always know her family's legacy as one of the Original Groups of Satanic Witches and being the founders for the coven. It was her fate to lead of the next line of witches, but her soon quiet life blissful came crashing down after her and her mother were selected and marked by the townspeople as "witches." and sent to fire, after Ivy was caught making out with Reverends Hans's granddaughter and her dying of sickness and cold the next day.
