"Seriously?" Sasuke asked, and Minato nodded.

"Like serious serious?" Shikamaru asked, and Minato smiled and nodded again.

"Thank you then." Naruto said softly, and Shikanaru held his hand, Minato looked to the trio. They were definitely higher ranking, but this is all he could do for the time being, and they did deserve it. Saving the village from an invasion, and even protecting the Genin. He ran it by the council and they all agreed.

So Minato, along with Asuma Itachi, Fugaku, Shikaku and Kushina stood there proud of the trio and what they accomplished for themselves and the village.

"Your eyes." Fugaku started talking to Naruto. Naruto who looked to the man tilted his head and Fugaku held some emotion other than passive on his face.

"Me and your mother were wondering why they were blue with a heart shape, and so we looked deeply into the myths. Do you know the myth of Inagami and Susanoo?" Naruto smiled, he loved to read when he was younger, so he nodded his head and spoke.

"Inagami and Susanoo were married. Inagami was being targeted by the eight forked serpent but Susanoo told her parents that he would kill the serpent for her hand in marriage and they readily agreed. He wielded the totsuka sword, Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi, also known as heavenly sword of gathering clouds. She was a pure hearted woman, and made deity by Susanoo so it made sense that Kami would bless me with Inagami instead of Susanoo." Naruto said explaining while Itachi smiled.

"You are way too smart, I see now why you and the Nara are together." Itachi said but Naruto scoffed and shook his head.

"Shikamaru was just unbelievably persistent, too much wasted effort for somebody who only smiled when extremely happy." Naruto said but Shikamaru tosses his arms around Naruto, whispering softly.

"You've been a lot more smiling since you've gained two fathers and your Sharigan" Naruto huffed, but sighed.

"Anyways, thanks for the promotion. Is there anything else we can do for you?" Naruto asked, and Minato nodded.

"I just promoted you three, however I need you three to make sure that it ended at Orochimaru. I just need you all to surveillance the remainder of the exams." The trio nodded.

"When does the exams start up again?" Sasuke asked, wanting to know if he could spend time with Temari.

"A week, you three need to rest, and I have Kage's I need to calm down." The three of them nodded and grabbed their clothes, bowing and went to leave but Mikoto called out.

"Sasuke, invite Temari for dinner I'd like to meet her." Sasuke nodded, and the three of them left.

"You spending the night?" Shikamaru asked, and Naruto nodded, Sasuke sighed.

"I'm sleeping at Temari's. I'll see you tomorrow for dinner, I'll bring Temari tomorrow." Naruto nodded as he waved to his brother and they parted ways, Naruto and Shikamaru calmly spoke to one another.

"Nara-Uchiha." Naruto said and Shikamaru thought he meant for his last name, but then he saw his content face curve into a smile.

"Our child will be Nara-Uchiha." Naruto said softly, and Shikamaru smiled.

"They will be, whenever you are ready for them. Although probably not for another three four years." Naruto nodded, but he spoke.

Naruto had access to the forbidden healing arts, and there was a way he could get pregnant with the healing marks, and while it was extremely hard to do so, it was Naruto's only shot for having a child. However.

Naruto could always beat the odds.

So when they stumbled into Shikamaru's house, the first thing they wanted to do was shower. The couple had grown accustomed to showering together anyways, it was never really intimate until this shower, when Shikamaru seemed to fall even deeper in love with the stoic teen when he brought up children.

"Deidara is pregnant with Itachi's child." Naruto said calmly and Shikanaru hummed and wrapped his arms around Naruto's neck and hummed into his ear.

"Is he now?" Shikamaru said, kissing Naruto's neck, hearing his sigh softly.

"Yeah, something about him having both parts. However Itachi told Sasuke he could keep being heir of the clan." Naruto gasped as Shikamaru bit his sweet spot.

"That nice. Itachi is a caring brother. So different from you and Sasuke." Naruto couldn't even retort, Shikamaru was biting his neck, and playing with his semi hard nipples, and he was moaning a little, giving into the sensations.
