"Good luck!"
"Thanks guys. I'm lucky to have you by my side.", I said.
Hi. I'm Devon. And I work as a motivator and a therapist.
"Hello everyone! Devon as you may know, and I'm here to give a motivational speech about life. Shout out to those who thinks their life is hard, because you picked the right person!"

It all started when I was a child. About 4th grade. I had a brother, and I loved him with all my heart. I'd play with him, shower him and do everything for him. But that all came to an end.

"CRASH-" I heard a loud noise, glass shattering. My head was spinning like crazy, and I kept hearing loud high-pitched noises. Argh.. What was that? I looked up to my hand, and saw blood. I looked around, and saw my brother, head bleeding non-stop, and unconscious.
"LEO!" I shouted.
My mom shouted as soon she saw my dad, head on the steering wheel, also bleeding.
I cried badly. My eyes were sore. A few people stopped by, and help call an ambulance. We went to a nearby hospital. Mom was holding both Leo and dad's hands, bursting into tears.

I saw them bringing Leo on a bed, rushing into a room. I was treated by a nurse, since I have light injury. But how about Leo? What's going to happen to him?
We waited for a few hours, and finally the doctor came.
"Ms, your husband made it, but... your son..''
"Wait.. WHAT? Mom, she's lying right? This can't be true.."
"Come with me.." The doctor said.
I saw Leo on a bed, eyes closed, and covered in a lot of bandages.
"Leo? Are you alright?", mom said.
"Leo.. please don't go.."
A nurse brought dad on a wheelchair here.
"How is my son?"
"I'm afraid this is his last moment with you all. Please cherish this moment."
"Leo..... Remember that I love you so much, and I'd do anything for you. Sorry if I did bad things to you before, or bully you and whatsoever..", I said, with my teary eyes.
" Leo, we love you with all our hearts, remember that please..", said mom.
A tear rolled down Leo's cheek.
"I... love... you.. too............",he said back.
We held Leo's hand tightly while crying.
"BEEP..............."
"He's gone... Leo....."
I hugged him tightly.
"Leo.... I will miss you forever.."
"Devon, let's go..."
I saw the doctor and nurses cover him up. I cried silently, as the next day we had a funeral. I kept on crying, and I couldn't stop.

As a few weeks passed by, I was emotionless. I didn't focus on my studies, I just locked myself in my room. I didn't say a word. My life was now filled with darkness. My parents tried to cheer me up, but that made it worse.
My parents brought me to a therapist, and turns out I had thantophobia, fear of losing someone I loved. i tried to get over it, but it wouldn't work. I felt guilty that I wasn't there to protect Leo.
I couldn't forgive myself. Sometimes I'd talk to myself, slap, or scratch myself. I ended up living my life the depressed way.
I was failing my grades. The teacher was disappointed in me. My parents didn't know what to do.
A few months later, we had to move to a new city, since he found a new job. Mom started a party planner business, and helped a few people planned their party. So our family is okay now since we have everything we need.
I was home-schooled for a few months because mom thought I needed a break from school. Eventually, mom had too many appoinments, and dad was super busy so I had to go to school. Except.. It's a private school, also with a mental heath program. I heard it's ranked top 5 in our country, so I'm sure everyone there is a brainiac. I was accepted there, and it was kinda rusty at first, but I made it.
*Flashback*
"You'll be staying in dorms,"
"What?! No no no, I'm staying here."
"You can't. It's compulsory. Pack your bags, and I'll meet you downstairs."
I sighed. I hope this new school will turn out good. I packed everything I needed, and looked around my room for the last time. I saw a picture of me and Leo together. A tear droped, but I didn't care.
"I'll always remember you, Leo." I said, looking at the photo.

"Devon! It's time to go!"
I took the picture with me. Just to remember him. I got in the car, and got my last glance if the neighbourhood.
"Honey, you'll be able to come back twice a month. It's not like you're schooling overseas." Dad said.
"I'll miss this place terribly.."
"You'll do great. We're all will. We'll visit you this week."

I arrived at that school. It's huge and actually like a real college. I got my bags and went in.
"Mind if I help you?" A senior said. Wow, this dude is handsome, but I'm not into him.
"Sure. What's my dorm number?"
"Check that board over there."
"H-24"
I went into my dorm. Each room has 2 people. I hope my roomate's nice. I set everything and went to mom and dad.
"I'll miss you."
"We'll visit you this weekend, don't worry."
"Bye mom, bye dad."

As usual, I did what I always do. I opened my podcast, full of sad music, because why not?
Get You The Moon ; by Kina was playing. I explore for a bit to see this huge school.
I went to the cafe and got a latte. I sat down under a tree, watching people  coming in and out. Wow, there's a lot of people here.

"Hey, you new?"
