My Knight in Shining Armor

My mind was distracted. A part of me was annoyed at Kevin for being such an ass but deep down I knew that was expected for he was the school flirt . I was, however, disappointed in myself for thinking that he will treat me better because I was pretty and smart, well, more of a nerd but it doesn't matter. I, Tangy Moore, had turned from the girl every other girl at school admired and envied to the laughing stock. " Yeah, I'm just an idiot, why did I send him those pictures! Tangy you've lost your mind," I mumbled to myself as I made my way for the bus station.
My phone was continuously buzzing and it was driving me crazy because I knew what the notifications were all about. The jerks at school were making fun of my boob pics, the same pictures that Kevin has asked for them and since we were dating, I trusted them with him. I mentally made a note to tell my mom everything that had happened and if I were lucky, I might end up getting grounded after being  slapped.
As the bus approached, I made my way towards it and I froze in my tracks when I heard some girls laughing behind me saying something about me being some cheap whore even though my dad was a pastor at a local church. " Excuse me, what did you just say?" I turned around while asking the girls who continued giggling and talking about me as if I hadn't spoken to them!! Urgh! They were certainly driving me crazy. 
" Hey Miss, can I sit next to you? " I heard a voice ask and without bothering to look who it was I nodded my head and continued listening to music as I couldn't wait to get out of the bus and go to the comfort of my bed. " What was that for? It's totally uncalled for and most importantly it's rude to..." I said to the passenger next to me as I turned for the first time to look at him. " Yovie..." I stuttered. I couldn't believe that my childhood crush was sitter next to me and suddenly it felt like I was eight years old because of the butterflies in my stomach. Gosh!! He was handsome, breathtaking maybe and suddenly he smiled, one of those smiles that make you want to sire kids for him as he engulfed me into a big hug and I couldn't help but press myself against his chest. " I missed you, how have you been Tangy?" He whispered in my ears and all of a sudden I was breaking down telling him of how I had fucked up by sending Kevin pictures of my titties and how they were all over the internet. He slowly wiped my tears away while staring at me. " You're beautiful sunshine, and just because you sent that asshole some pictures doesn't make you any less of a human being. However, I hope that you have learnt your lesson. My brother, you remember him? I'll ask him to  pull a few strings so that the pictures can be taken down from  the internet. In the meantime, this is my stop and I hop to see you soon Tangy. Keep your head high," he said as he hugged me one last time. The bus pulled over and Yovie together with some few other people alighted.
I was grinning from ear to ear and it felt like the odds were actually working for me. " Done, they have been taken down," read my Facebook notification message from Yovie. Damn! He was my knight in a shining armor.
