PROLOGUE:
Imagine what the world would be like with no people on it - no animals on it, either. If everyone in the world had just vanished.
Except you.
They want these children bad. After an illegally running experimental lab was invaded and torn down, their most powerful children escaped, as babies. These kids had been genetically altered to give them features and abilities deemed legends. They were put up for adoption and found by parents who didn't know these children would bring inhuman disasters that would ruin their lives in no time. Or at least that's what they thought. Now they're angry that the children have forgotten it all. They tracked some down, a boy and a girl who went to school together and were practically inseparable, and another boy who was slightly aware he was being watched. The rest were off the map, living a normal human life somewhere they couldn't find them.
So finally, they've become desperate. To crush the wall that holds back the extent of their true powers, they must find each other - after all, you need all the puzzle pieces to complete a puzzle. Their last solution is to make all the people of the world disappear. At least they wouldn't be hurt. Once their work was completed, everyone would come back where ever they were, like they'd been sleeping for only a few minutes. Despite there being no humans there, some of their other, more defective, experiments were immune to the disappearance. As the children begin to realize their true selves, they plan to find out more about their past lives, and they're not going to make it easy for them.
They claim that these children are only a few of their experiments. They say that they're nothing important. That they're useless now that they forgotten their true powers. Shall any threat or alteration get in the way, that they're mistakes that should have been killed. But if these kids are such disappointments, then why will they go so far to find them?
