"Don't touch me!"

Jin's hand is slapped away as Jungkook takes another step back putting distance between the two. It'd be almost funny, the look on the older man's face, if the previous confession hadn't caused the blood to drain from Jungkook's face. Jin slowly raised his hand again and held it between them with the envelope as an offering - eyes urging Jungkook to calm down.

"I don't need your money! I can cope by myself"

The notes flew from the envelope as it was slapped from Jin's hand and he watched in discomfort as the notes fluttered in the light breeze. It was a lot of money, it always was, and Jungkook knew it would take a load off his shoulders if he were to just reach out and accept...but he couldn't let himself do that. Not again.

"I'm sick of this. I don't need your money and I don't need you. I can find someone else-"

Jin felt his stomach drop at the thought and felt a flash of anger run through him. He knew Jungkook was only reacting to what he had said - he hadn't complained about anything up until now - but the thought that the younger could walk away so easily didn't sit well with him.

Within seconds Jin had fallen to his knees and grabbed hold of Jungkook's legs, pulling himself closer until his forehead rested against his knees. He felt a shudder wash over him at the thought of someone else touching what was his and took great effort in swallowing the growl that threatened to escape.

"Jungkook...please...I can't do this without you. You give my life meaning...I'm nothing without you. Just tell me what I can do, I'll do anything!"

Jungkook stared down at the man he had laid with and scoffed, eyes full of hatred and what looked very much like fear. It was a look Jin had never seen before and he'd be lying if he said he didn't find it thrilling; to be on the receiving end.

"I was only ever in this for the money. You know that. I never wanted a relationship, much less with someone like you"

Jungkook stepped back quickly and watched as Jin fell to his hands, head bowed as if the words had been a brutal blow. Jungkook knew they weren't, of course, that Jin's little obsession deluded him to believe that Jungkook needed him - that Jungkook was just confused. It left Jin slightly immune to the harshness of Jungkook's words and left moments like these terrifying for Jungkook. He had no way of hurting the elder, not really.

"I can't deal with your obsession anymore. Come near me again and I'm calling the cops"

That had been a little over a month ago and Jungkook was, yet again, groaning into the palms of his hands. Jobs were hard to come by for qualified individuals and Jungkook, unfortunately, was about to start another semester at college and no-one wanted to hire a college kid. It was a tough world out there and Jungkook only slightly regretted blowing Jin off in that moment.

"Why did he have to be crazy..."

Jungkook rolled his head until his neck popped and sighed, slouching until his chin rested on his desk. It really had been for the best, he told himself. Jin was a nightmare. At the beginning of their agreement Jungkook had told him many times that he wasn't looking for love, that it was strictly business, what was so hard to understand? Why did Jin have to go fuck up such a good thing?

"Maybe it's me...maybe I led him on too much..."

Jungkook shook his head and glanced at his phone, noticing that the screen was brightly lit with the message of an incoming call. Strange...I thought I had it on...Jungkook dragged the phone in front of him and accepted the call, putting it on loud speaker and resting the side of his head against his arm.
