Prologue

I jolted awake and I instantly knew something wasn't right. My stomach was buzzing with queasiness.
As I sat up slowly, as I didn't want to upset my stomach further when I noticed that I was in a dark, black metal room with two doors, a bed, and a small window that showed little sunlight shinning through it. The bed was in the center of the room with one door directly in front of the bed an the other door to the right.
I got up and moved to the door to the right of the bed and turned the cold nob and pushed the door open. I peered inside and quickly realized that this door led to a bathroom.
I turned back to the dark room I woke up in and slowly walked to the other door. I tried to open the door but it had been locked from the outside.
"What's going on?" I shouted at the room, "Where am I?" I started to bang on the door with an increasing frequency; and my fists stung in protest. I didn't relent. I couldn't relent. I would not ever relent. However, my rampage had to come to an end when my skin broke and my blood started flowing from my sore wounds. The door that I was sure held my escape, hadn't budged an inch.
I started to panic shortly thereafter. As my heart raced, I tried to keep my breathing slow and calm. I knew panicking would not release me from my locked dark cell. I realized that someone should have heard me by now and would have let me out of my prison by now.
I was purposely imprisoned in this room. All I could do now is to wait and see what was going to happen next.
