A Different Turn In Events for Hermione

Hermione's Begining

"You know what you have to do then don't you!?" I yelled at Ron!

"No, what is it this time?" He yelled back. It was Chrismas at the burrow. Molly and Author were out getting food. While Ginny was over at Luna's and Harry was standing there looking like he couldn't decide who he agreed with more.

"NEXT TIME IM CRYING INSTEAD OF RUNNING AWAY LIKE A COWARD DON"T RUN OFF WITH HARRY! SO YOUR BROTHER WOULD HAVE NEVER HAD TO COMFORT ME IN THE FRST PLACE!!" I was screeching at him. I had received an owl that had informed me that the Order had killed my family. I had read the letter and began crying, Ron gave me a look of fear and told Harry to follow him and they left. After they left me alone Fred found me and had been calming down when Ron and Harry had come back. And Ron had begun that I was a cheater and could not be trusted.

"RON SHUT UP! YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT HER IF YOU STILL WANTED HER!" Fred was yelling back at his brother. 

"Oh FINE GANG UP ON ME! HARRY WHAT YOU SAY, MATE?" He yelled turning towards Harry.

"Leave me out of this," he said.

"YOUR A DAMN GRYFFINDOR SHOW SOME BRAVERY WITH YOUR FRIENDS FOR ONCE!!" Fred yelled.

"Fine, I chose Hermione on this one. Ron there right we shouldn't have left." Harry said

"Thank you, Harry..."I said. Fred put his arm around my waist protectively.

"Fine I see you pick her I am going up to my room." Ron left the room.

"Fred thank you for all your help," I said turning around to face him. I could feel his warm breath as he breathed. I looked into his soft brown eyes. He was so close. I had always liked him a bit more than his brother.

"Hermione..."Fred started to say as I said "Fred" we both looked back at each other and laughed.

"You go first then," I said giving him a small smile.

"I just wanted you to know that I always am here for you if the parts aren't," Fred said letting go of my waist. For a second I thought I was going to let him go but in a moment left, I grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"Fred, "I said placing my arms around his neck, It felt so right."Fred s-stay with me. Please I don't need to be alone...I don't want you to leave."I almost said that last part a little two quite.

"What?" he asked giving me a look of he just wanted me to repeat it.

"I don't want you to leave me." I was looking down again.

"Then I won't."He picked me up and sat down with me in his lap. For awhile we just sat there against the wall with me on top of his lap, I began feeling really sleepy. I hadn't noticed I had dozed off until I could feel him moving. I moved my head up and saw Fred carrying me to my room. He had me on the bed and was pulling the covers over me when i grabbed his neck and pulled him close to me.

"Stay," I said,

"Really?!" He asked sounding a little confused.

"Yes, I need someone to cuddle with," I said guiltily as charged. I could hear him scuffle around my bed. I felt him lay down next to me. I placed my head on his chest and wrapped my arms around him. I could feel him place his arm around my waist. We feel into a blissful sleep.

*Freds pov*

"Oh my god Fred," A voice I knew all too well to be my dear brothers Georgie's."Mate, you got Smartie with you?!" I could feel him shaking me and Hermione. 

"If you wake her up I'll beat up to a pulp!" I threatened quietly.

"If he wakes her up"It was Ginny, "He's going to be attacked by her birds."She said pointing towards the paper birds that sat motionlessly.

"She attacked me with those once!" It was the git Ron.

"Get out Ron!"I said raising my voice quietly. Then I felt a small shuffle in between my arms.

"Fred *yawns* what's going on?"Hermione asked really sleepy looking.

"Nothing we just caught you red-handed cheating on me with my own brother!" It was from Ron again. She popped up apologizing if she had hurt me.

"Ron? Fred?"She looked around first at Ron who seemed to be fuming air and me laying there both of us fully dressed. "Oh, Ron-"Her expression hardened again." I can't Belive you would blam Fred!"She practically screeched.

"Hermione YOU slept with my BROTHER!!" His face as now filled with red.

"Well-"She stopped for a small second I looked over at Ginny I could see the fear in her eyes."Ron you know I have issued its not my fault you left me last night to deal with them alone! UGH why can't I have one peaceful moment with you first you're billing me for cheating cause FRED was there when I needed someone cause my worst nightmare had come true!" There were tears streaming down her face now. She had already jumped out of bed. "MY PARENTS ARE DEAD!! You still have your entire family all I had id gone now! I don't have siblings! THEY WERE MY FAMILY!! AND YOU JUST LEFT ME TO CRY ALONE!!! AND THEN WHEN YOU FIND OUT THAT SOMEONE HELPED ME YOU ACCUSE ME OF CHEATING WHEN YOU, ON THE OTHER HAND, HAVE LEFT ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TO MEET OTHER GIRLS! OH YES, I KNOW ABOUT THEM, I KNOW YOU STILL SNOG LAVENDER! SO YOU WANT TO ACCUSE ME OF CHEATING GO AHEAD BUT RON THIS WAS THE LAST STAW!! I CAN'T POSSIBLY MARRY SOMEONE WHO IS CHEATING ON ME THEN ACCUSING ME OF CHEATING!!"While she was screaming at Ron she pulled off a ring on her finger.

"h-Hermione..."Ron studied out."M-me and L-l-lav" but Hermione cut him off.

"Ron it's over you've hurt me so many nights by just walking away when I needed you. I will not marry you."She said looking down at the floor. No one else would be able to see the tears streaming down her face. I stood up to stand in front of her.

"Ron I think you should go get mom,"I said trying to stay calm. Ron left the room, no one followed. Then Hermione fell and began to sob.

"Harry help me!" I said frantically.

"I don't know what to do!"Harry practically yelled back. At that moment I was 100% sure that I would never be so happy to see my Mother.

"Everyone out- I've got her Fred, Harry," she said looking at Harry as she took Hermione from my arms and walked over to the bed with her."Ron needs you, he says he just lost the love of his life. Fred you can stay outside Hermione may need one of the twins Ginny you can stay if you'd like but stay out of my way!" She was now rocking Hermione in her arms as she cried.

"F-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-Fred Please!....."Hermione whispered into my mom's hair.

"Actually Fred come here and hold her."I went over there and sat down and Hermione immediately crawled over into my lap I wrapped my arms. She soon fell asleep.

"oh, the poor girl." Ginny came back in now."She's been there for Harry and Ron since first year did you know that they'd never made it past the devils snare without her. and then Ron being a prat about how she never lost anything and that her family wasn't in any danger.  When they were younger Harry and Ron would get so mad and instead of releasing their anger in a calm way they took it out on her."Ginny walked over and lifted up Hermione's long blue sleeve and pressed her wand to a scar that read 'MUDBLOOD' on her arm. Ginny murmured something and i could feel Hermione's muscles relax a bit.

"Gin what's that?" I asked. "Oh yes, I'm the only one who knows Bellatrix when Harry Ron and her were captured instead of answering her truthfully she lied so Bellatrix scared her arm. She has nightmares about it. I always felt worse for her than the other two cause their parts and they know it but Harry's gotten a little better." Ginny was shaking her head slightly. "I never knew she went through all that..." I said at last. Not realizing my thumb was moving in circles on the small of her back. "Yeah, not many people do. Everyone's always looking at Harry or Ron. Without her, they would have died on their second day. And Harry would be somewhere in a grave next to me, dad, Ron, and everyone else he's lost." She sighed."Well, sleep well Fred get comfy she is going to need your strength, she doesn't show it but I know her better than anyone, she needs you, we thought she needed Ron but after today and yesterday, I know that she needs you. So take care of her for me." and she got up and left the room.

"NIght Gin." I said quietly as she exited "Night Freddie!" And she went off to bed.
