"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!" I scream as I walk into the bathroom.
My pest of a little brother put a snake in the bathroom, not a toy snake, a real one with a pretty pattern on its back. Mom came running up the stairs in a panic, "What's wrong, sweetie?" She says before noticing the snake. "What's wrong is you decided you just had to open up your legs and get pregnant again." I said in anger as I'm trying to get ready for the first day of school. "Excuse me young lady," mom says in that sassy attitude of hers. "I'm sorry mom, I'm just angry, but uh, could you get the snake out of the bathroom so I can take a shower?"
She hurried in and got the snake, by this time it's already 6:30 and I'm not gonna have enough time to get ready and get breakfast before school. Oh well, I'll deal with it till lunch.Well, here it is. A new school, new people, and all I have is me and my books. I'm a sophomore in high school and I have moved 18 times within the last two years. I'm really tired of it.
Well, here goes nothing. Time to go in and be the embarrassment that I usually am. *grumble grumble* is the sound my belly keeps making, I really should've eaten breakfast."Excuse me, excuse me!" "Hello?" I say to the group of people standing in front of me. "Could someone show me where the main office is?" I'm looking all around and no one is paying me any attention. So I just start wondering around the halls, all alone, hoping someone will help me.
"Hi, my name is Autumn. Are you new here?" "Yeah, I just moved here from New York. Everything seems so different here, it's like I am invisible and nobody will pay me any attention." "Yeah, that's how most people are here, rude and don't pay attention when they are being talked to."She seems like someone I can trust, someone I can get along with. We will see how it goes, I just want someone that I can share my secrets with, someone who will accept me. I hate new schools and I am so tired of moving place to place, I just wish it would all stop. "Well, let's get you to class. You have first period with Mrs. Johnson, she's okay. She yells a lot though. You have second, fourth, and fifth with me. Sixth period you have Mr. James, science, ew. His class is right down the hall from Mrs. Johnson. Seventh period you have a free period, you get to do whatever. You could even leave if you wanted to, I have a free period seventh every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday."
*bell rings* "Oops, time to go to class." "Bye Autumn, I'll see you after class."Well the day flew by and I was home in no time. "How was the first day?" Mom said with a huge grin on her face. "Eh, it was okay, I made a new friend. Like literally, one new friend. The rest of the people there are snobby." "I'm sorry Lola, it'll get better. I promise." "Yeah mom, that's what you've said every other time and just when things get good we have to move again, I just hope it's all over now. That we are here for good."
I go upstairs into my room and get in my pajamas and my phone starts ringing. "Hello?" "Hey, it's Autumn." "Oh, hey, I forgot I gave you my number." "What's up?" "Nothing really, about to go down and eat dinner. What are you doing?" "Nothing, but uh I was wondering, I know you've only been here a day, but would you like to go to a party with me Friday?" "Sure, I will ask my
mom later and let you know tomorrow." "Okay, bye." "Bye.""Dinner was great mom, thanks. Can I go to a party with Autumn Friday?" "Sure, I guess." "Alright, thanks. Goodnight."
So I hurry up stairs and get my things prepared for school tomorrow and brush my teeth, then get all nice and snug in my bed."Lola, Lola, LOLA!!!!!" My mom screams as she's waking me up. "What it's like 2am?" "Your brother is missing, do you have any idea where he went?" Mom asks in a panic. "No, how do you know he's missing and not just hiding in one of the rooms in this huge house?" I ask with an attitude because this is a normal trick my brother has played so many times when we move. "I'm going back to sleep if you don't find him by the time I have to go to school then I'll be worried."
