Today was the day that Thomas would orchestrate his second attempt of killing Oswald Moseley.

He hadn't told a single soul about this plan other than the guy he had hired to shoot the fatal shot that would ultimately end Moseley's life who just so happened to be one of May Carleton's closest cousins.

Tommy had his doubts that this man would accidentally slip up to May about their plan and the money Tommy would be paying him if he were successful. But, he wouldn't know if he did or not because he had avoided Miss Carleton to the best of his ability since the last time he had seen her.

She had called a few times to ask why he refused to speak to her but he would always hang up as soon as he recognised her voice muttering a 'hello' down the line so her question never got answered unfortunately.

Everything was set and ready to go.

The political rally meeting that Moseley was holding had already began and Tommy could see May's cousin from where he was stood on stage, lurking in the shadows at the very end of the hall.

Thomas prayed in his mind that this plan would go accordingly this time. He had trouble believing in God but today he was hopeful that somehow God was real and would be on his side.

Moseley's voice boomed throughout the hall through the speakers as he screamed down the microphone about his cause and what he wanted 'for the people'.

10 - 'Alright, I can see him.'
9 - 'He has his guns ready.'
8 - 'He's not in his position.'
7 - 'He's aiming too early.'
6 - 'Put the guns down!'
5 - 'You're in the wrong position!'

4 - BANG! BANG!

3 - 'He shot Moseley.'
2 - 'Fuck! He shot me, too.'
1 - "Grace?"

As the world around Tommy seemed to fade away into the distance, all he saw was Grace stood above him.

"Grace."

She wasn't smiling; she was frowning.

Grace was angry and upset with him but still proud of him none the less for killing Oswald Moseley like he had planned to do so.

May's cousin ran once he had fired both shots.
The second bullet he fired was an accident; a mere slip of the hand and wrongful aiming which had left Tommy lying on the stage in a pool of his own blood and knocking on deaths door once again.

'Tommy you have to stay awake. Come on, Tom.'

He tried, he really did. But he couldn't.

Images of his life flashed through his memory.
