I felt like I had just emerged from deep waters, everything was muffled and I could just make out the sound of a distant steady beep. The bed beneath me was comfortable, but the blankets felt rough against my skin.  Slowly I opened my eyes, my eyelids were heavy, barely staying open. Everything was fuzzy, I could only make out that the room was white with a black floor. Everything else in the room were just blurry blobs. I didn't know why I was here, where I was, or what really scared me, who I was. All I felt was the steady throbbing of my head, it was like I had been sucker punched by a Wookie.

After what seemed like hours of just laying there on the bed trying to come to my full senses, I decided to try and get up. My limbs felt heavy, as if they were being weighed down. Slowly bringing my arm to the mask that was covering my mouth and nose, I weakly yanked it off. Immediately regretting this action, for a sharp pain went through my arm from the effort. Wincing I then moved my right hand to pull out the needle taped to my left arm. Once free of all the medical contraptions I swung my legs over the side of the white bed and sat up.

A sudden wave a nausea rushed over me and I fought the urge to vomit. I was now able to clearly see my surroundings. The room itself was fairly small, but was extremely clean. I couldn't see a single thing out of place. From what I could tell I was in some type of med-bay. There were cabinets that lined the wall across from the end of my bed. I assumed they were filled with various medical supplies. Next to the bed was an IV, heart monitor,  and some other medical instruments I did not know the name of. Other than those objects the room was bare.

Looking down I realized I could see my reflection in the floor. My (e/c) eyes looked bleak, with noticeable bags under them. My skin was also a sickly pale like it hadn't seen sun in years. I looked awful.

"What happened to me?"

The sudden sound of voices coming from the other side of the door caught my attention. Distracting me from my thoughts. I tried to focus on what they were saying.

"What do you mean I can't see her!?" yelled from what I can tell was a man. His voice was distorted, robotic sounding even. Nonetheless he sounded pissed.

"I'm sorry sir, but she has just woken up. She will be weak, now is not the time for you to see her" said a much calmer women's voice.

"I am your superior! You will not tell me what I can and cannot do!" the man yelled louder, causing me to flinch. "If you do not get out my way, I will move you myself!" His voice sent shivers down my spine. I hoped whoever it was would not come in, I did not want to face them. Not now at least as I sat helpless on the bed.

I hadn't realized how tight I had been gripping the bed, till my hands began to ache from the strain. The silence in the room was heavy and it made me feel anxious with anticipation. The sudden whoosh of the white door sliding open, sliced through the silence like a knife. I braced myself for whatever or whoever was about to come in.

I withheld a gasp. The figure that stepped in the room was tall, broad and completely clad in black. What caught my attention was the black helmet that adorned their head, it was a face-concealing black combat helmet with silver surrounding the slots for the eyes. The figure walked with purpose and radiated pure power. Their chest heaved as they walked towards my bed, their black cape billowing behind them.

Scared, I stood up to try and get away from them. Who ever this was I did not want to be here with them, alone nonetheless. My attempt to escape the room quickly failed, for my legs would not work. They were to weak from under use. I began to fall and braced myself for the impact of the ground. It never came.

A pair of strong arms caught me around the waist, gently lifting me up back on to the bed. Their hands lingered before pulling away. I shook with fear and exhaustion. I couldn't bring myself to look up, but I had to. I had so many questions swirling around my head, I needed answers and whoever this was was my only chance to get them. Taking a deep breath to calm my nerves I looked up.

I tried to speak, but only a small squeak came out. I cringed at the sound. Clearing my throat I tried again.

"Who are you?" I asked. My voice was hoarse and sounded like I had been gargling rocks for the past hour.

The mystery man stood there for a moment contemplating their next move. I saw their hands slightly shake as they lifted them up to the back of their helmet. The helmet made a small hissing sound as they lifted it off their head. I released a breath I didn't realize I been holding. Standing before me was just a man, which I was grateful for. I had been expecting a hideous creature under that helmet, but instead was met with a man of true beauty. Even the long scar that traveled down the right side of his face did not diminish his good looks. Long raven locks framed a face that was littered with freckles and had high cheek bones. His plush pink lips were slightly agape as his piercing brown eyes searched mine. They held an emotion you couldn't quite pinpoint.

"Well hot damn!" I thought. He did a small smirk as if he heard my thoughts. Ogling at this man was not answering my questions, so I repeated yourself.

"Who are you?"

He exterior seemed to visibly fall. Frowning he replied in a deep smooth voice.

"Do you not remember me?" He continued to look at me, his expression briefly flashed with what seemed like sadness.

I sighed in defeat. "I'm sorry but I don't. I-I don't even know who I am!" I placed my head in my hands looking away from the man and rubbed my temples. Silence fell across the room once more.

"I am Kylo Ren of the Knights of Ren and commander for the First Order. You are Y/N Y/L/N and you are currently in the med-bay of the First Oder ship called the Finalizer." Kylo said with no emotion. He then hesitated, "You've...been in a coma for the last six years."

You looked back up at Kylo Ren with wide eyes, his face had no sign of emotion anymore. You didn't know what to say, you now had more questions than you did before.

"I've been in a coma for six years!?" I yelled. "Wh-what happened to me?!" I was freaking out now and began to shake.

"How could I have been asleep so long. What happened? Why can't I remember?! ", I thought frantically.

Kylo Ren grabbed my chin sharply, his leather gloves digging into my skin. "Listen here you waste of oxygen, you will not raise your voice to me!" he seethed.

I shed a tear from the pain of his grip and the fear of what else he would do to me. His brown eyes were suddenly filled with a vicious rage. His eyes followed the tear that slowly made its way down my cheek. As if he was in a trance he quickly let me go and rushed out of the room, placing his helmet back on as he left.

I sat there defeated on the bed, face sore and trying to comprehend what just happened.

"Why me?" I thought before laying back down on the bed. My head now throbbed more and my jaw ached from Kylo Ren's rough grip.

"So Y/N is my name then. At least I have some information that's useful."

My eyelids felt heavy once more, giving up my mind's endless pursue of questions, I closed my eyes. Soon the sweet embrace of sleep overtook me.
