I run through the forest, all the trees look the same and it's raining heavy, yet I don't stop to catch my breath.
I keep telling myself, "don't look back." I feel a tear roll down my cherry red cheek. Why couldn't I have a normal family? Why did my parents choose this life?
I snap out of my thoughts and someone tackles me to the ground.
"Ahhhhhhh." I wake up sweat dripping down my forehead.
"Raven? Are you okay?" My brother Rocco asks as he sits at the bottom of my bed.
"I'm fine." I say as I sit up.
"Raven, you're my twin, I know your not fine." He looks at me worried.
"I'm having the nightmares again..." I look down in disappointment, not in him but in myself.
"I'm so sorry Raven, I wish I could take them all away." He lifts my chin up. "It'll be okay, one day." He says.
"We are never gonna find them, roc." I let a tear drop down onto my sheet.
"Hey, look and me Rave, we will find mom and dad." He looks at me with so much confidence.
