Authors note: i usually can't finish more than 3 chapters but I'm going to try

Hey my name is Tatum and this is a story of how I fell in love in a unexpected way. I was 18 and my sister was 20. I still lived with my dad and my sister steph lives in apartment around 5 minutes away from my dads. My mom and dad are divorced so I just live with him. I go over to my grandmas for dinner a lot, she likes to cook for guests. Over the years we had a fair amount of awkward dinners with the people she invites over.

But tonight is one of those "dinners" that no one really likes. But this is different because my dad is making me and my sister go over. I was just watching criminal minds on my tv when my dad came in my room and told me to start getting ready. I usually just wear some jeans and a T-Shirt.

I just finished getting ready, I'm going to ride with my dad to my grandmas house while steph is driving herself over there. I feel kinda weird about this I have a different feeling about tonight's dinner. God I hope it's not that awkward 😔. While I was thinking we took the familiar turn into her neighborhood. I saw 2 cars in her drive way that weren't hers, and damn did they look nice 🤑. Ok all jokes a side it probably some couple that's hella rich but has toxic marriage lmao.

I started getting out of my dads car and walking up to her door I just opened it because I'm close to her and she doesn't care anyway. And let me tell you when I walked in I stopped dead in my tracks...there sat two hot ass boys. Damn grandma has game...jk. But really what are they doing here . I stood their in the door way for 10 seconds before my sister and dad came up behind me. They were sitting on the couches so I walked into the kitchen to see MORE PEOPLE. how is this even possible. Wtf my grandma has hella friends...deadass. The amount of people she invited over the years in aStRoNomICaL. But these people were different . My dumb ass is just standing in the kitchen while everyone is drinking wine and talking.

My grandma finally noticed that I was just standing there she deadass said " you're here, can you make the  brownies" I didn't get a please and she didn't even say hey. But i just nodded and got all the ingredients while these strange people in the kitchen just went back to there conversation. From the kitchen I can see the couch's and everyone was just one there phones I'm talking both the cute boys, my dad, and sister. Can they do any thing else? You know what, whatever I just need to make brownies. Of course I do this, I love to bake desserts, and I got to say I make so fire brownies. I just started getting to work.

I just finished making brownies and put them into the oven to bake for a while. Now I got to go into the living room and sis in there. I mean it could be worse, so I start walking over to the couch and sit in between my dad and sister. I just went on my phone to Instagram. I was just on the explore page waiting for something interesting to happen. You would be surprised the amount of arguments couples have at these dinner party's. For experience is better to just sit and watch lmao. But I sat there for around 20 minutes and everything was fine. Whatever I guess that's also good that nothings happening. And then someone said something it was my dad asking when dinner is done. I-... to my surprise my grandma said we could start eating then

So everyone got up and headed to the dinner table.
