Pt. 2 "A Tail?!"

Sayaka's Pov
"Maizono..?" I heard a calm sympathetic voice call out to me. I could of sworn this side of the beach was empty.. i guess thats another thing i was wrong about..

I felt a hand rub circles onto my back. I turn my head around to see Kyoko Kirigiri. Which surprised me. She always came across as the distant uncaring type..

"Maizono..?" She said once again to me. I still couldnt answer. "Is everything okay?" She said calmly like before. I put my hands up to my face looking at them. They were blurry, probably from all these tears I couldn't withstand to hold in..

"Maizono.. im starting to get worried.." It seemed like now she was starting to slowly grow more concerned. I calmed down enough to speak. "I-i think i did something wrong.." I turned my gaze back too the sea. A lighter shade a blue, the farther you looked.. the more darker it got.

"Why are you assuming you did something wrong.?" She looked quite confused. "Makoto.. he.." I choked out before i started to uncontrollably sob again.

Makoto.. He was always there for me.. whenever i was stressed out with work, he'd comfort me.. and even help out sometimes. He even did that when I realized things were falling apart between them. I still cant understand why..

No ones pov
Kirigiri's eyes widened. Showing signs of anger, frustration, and slight sadness. But she quickly shook it off since now wasn't the time to feel resentment. Gladly, Sayaka didn't see her since her gaze was turned back to the ocean. Sayaka looked so heartbroken. Kirigiri has never seen Sayaka cry before untill now.

Still crouching down, Kirigiri got up to sit on her knees. She looked at the oceans view. Beautiful, just like its always been. For as long as she could remember when things were uneasy for her she would come here and look at the water. It always helped her.. maybe it could help Sayaka as well?

Kirigiri thought for a moment then said quietly but calmly, "Im sure you did nothing wrong.. Sometimes things happen that's beyond our understanding.. since we dont know all the parts of the story". Sayaka turned to face Kirigiri, Sayaka still had tears flowing from her face. She used her right hand to wipe away her tears, leaving her hands partially black from Sayaka's dripping eye liner.

"I can assure you what happened today.. has nothing to do with you messing up anything.." Sayaka averted her gaze to the sea once more. She wondered how Kirigiri could be so sure of that. Maybe.. just maybe she knew something that Sayaka didnt? But she quickly pushed that thought from her head.

Kirigiri stood up and put her arm out with a caring smile on her face. Sayaka took her hand and stood up. Kirigiri started taking off her jacket then started walking into the water. Fully clothed aswell. Seemed quite strange too Sayaka.

Sayaka's pov
What was she doing? All he did was take off her jacket, she still had the rest of her clothes on. Sayaka took off her shoes and started to follow her in. "What are you doing? You still have your clothes on?" I asked with curiosity. I had my clothes on aswell but it was different.. I was simply following her. Kirigiri gave me a reassuring smile. And continued to walk in. I stopped once the water reached my waist, my skirt was completely soaked. And i stoped there. But Kirigiri kept going. "Give me one second.. ill be right back." Where could she be going? There was only water.. was she going swimming?

Kirigiri then did a leap into the water. It was pretty amazing i have to admit. I waited there for a few seconds, and seconds turned into a minute. She didnt come back up.
"Kirigiri? Are you okay!?" I yelled out into the distance. No reply. W-what if she's drowning.. should i go look for her?!

Kirigiri's pov
I stared to swim back to Sayaka she looked worried and she was starting to tear up again. I swam over to her. "Is everything okay?" Sayaka put her arms around me. "Oh thank god I thought something happened to you!" She seemed distraught but quickly calmed down. I lightly pat her back signaling for her to let go. And she did. Im not really one for hugs.. but She looked at me in confusion.

Sayaka's pov
She was fully clothed when she went in, but now she was only limited to a bikini bra?
"My eyes are up here." Kirigiri said calmly with annoyance in her voice. "I didnt mean to stare-!" A splash of water suddenly hit my face. But Kirigiri didnt use her hands.. and she started to laugh. I looked around to where the splash came from. How?! "A-A TAIL?!"
