Night Raven College - Mirror Chamber

"Eh!? You all really went to the Dwarfs' Mine to search for the magic stone!?" Crowley's surprised tone caught everyone off guard as they stared at the man with wide eyes.

"Eh!?"

"What do you mean by that?" Himemiya asked curiously and the masked man somehow becomes reluctant before speaking up.

"Well, it's just that I never would have thought that you actually went there," he explained before he cast his gaze over at the magic stone in Deuce's hand.

"Not to mention that you even found and brought back a magic stone with you. So, I've quietly gone ahead and started writing on the paperwork of your expulsion," the man sheepishly added.

"Nngah! The nerve of this guy!" Grim snapped and glared at the man in front of them, "And to think he did it while we had to fight off a horrible beast!"

From the small creature's comment, Crowley looked at him curiously, "A beast?"

"A monster suddenly appeared, you know!?" Ace continued, "It was so mad at us and it was crazy strong too which posed quite a problem for us!"

Himemiya and Deuce just nodded their heads at Ace's explanation and that caught Crowley's interest almost immediately.

"Can you tell me an even detailed story about that?"

Night Raven College - Headmaster's Office

"Oho," Crowley hummed in amusement when he heard the story from the beginning to the end.

"A monster that happens to reside within the coal mine appeared. And then the four of you worked together to defeat it, took the magic stone, and brought it back to the school?" the masked man summarized the whole story that he had listened and looked at the group with a curious gaze.

"It's... It's not like we're really working together," Ace mumbled as he looked away.

"It's more like our goals coincidentally aligned with each other..." Deuce quickly covered it up with other reasons, which made Himemiya gave the two young men a curious and skeptical sideways glance but remained silent nevertheless.

"Oh..." Crowley's voice caught their attention back to the man and not only did they found him in a state of shock, but he was also slightly trembling.

"Oooh... Ooohh... OOOOOHHHHH!! OOOOOOOOHHHH~!!!" Crowley began to bawl as he cried loudly like a child.

"P-Principal Crowley!?" Himemiya exclaimed in surprise.

"W-What's with this guy? Why would an adult suddenly cry all of a sudden?" Grim commented, startled by the masked man's action.

"For the past decades since I first became a principal..." Crowley spoke up in between his sobs, "I would have never thought that the day would come when students of Night Raven College would go hand in hand to defeat an enemy and win a battle!"

"Wha-!?" Deuce almost choke himself before correcting the older man's statement, "I did not hold this guy's hand!"

"Even I wouldn't do such a thing! It's disgusting!" Ace added with a disgusted look on his face when he looked at Deuce before casting an incredulous look at the man in front of them, "But really principal, exactly how old are you!?"
