Liz yawned and sighed. It was already 11:30, and Lou still wasn't home. She had been waiting for hours for him to return from? the recording studio, but he hadn't come home yet. Snuggling up further into the warm, beige blanket, she sipped her hot chocolate and adjusted the sleeves of her onsie. It was pretty obvious that Louis' odd habits had rubbed off on her! Tuning in to the latest episode of 'Here Comes Honey-BooBoo' she though that she heard a creak in the large flat. Dismissing it as their dog, Bella, she returned to the show, and checked the time again. 11:31. It seemed like every moment without him was too long. And just as she thought this a whisper was right in her left ear.

"Hello Love"

"HOLY SHI- LOUIS?!?" she shrieked. "What the hell!? You scared me to death!"

"I'm sorry babe... But your just so cute when you're surprised!" he grinned, tucking a piece of light blonde hair behind her ear.

"I was waiting for you..." she trailed off as she kissed his nose.

"I know. So... I got you these!" and he pulled out from behind him a bouquet of gorgeous pink, red, and peach colored roses.

"Awwww!" she kissed him again. "C'mere you!" as she pulled him closer. Louis dropped the flowers and whispered

"oops"

Liz shrugged, and seated him next to her on the cozy leather couch, then laid down on his chest.

"Sing to me" she murmured.

"Yes ma'am" Louis replied, and then proceeded to start "Your hand fits in mine like it was made just for me, but bear this in mind it was meant to be. And im joinin up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks, and it all makes sense to me...."

And she fell asleep to the sound of his voice.
